
Unit 3 Artificial Intelligence 教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)(一) 第一、第二課時(shí) Listening and Speaking 一、教材分析 本單元教學(xué)內(nèi)容節(jié)選自《英語3基礎(chǔ)模塊》中Unit 3 Artificial Intelligence 的Warming up和Listening and Speaking,聽說部分是關(guān)于人工智能應(yīng)用的場景和表達(dá)贊同與反對的詞匯句型,通過學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生能聽懂對話內(nèi)容,總結(jié)主題信息,并在此基礎(chǔ)上,學(xué)生能將語言知識和口語表達(dá)技能遷移到真實(shí)語境中。 二、學(xué)情分析 學(xué)生具備基本的網(wǎng)絡(luò)和計(jì)算機(jī)應(yīng)用場景表達(dá)并且對未來科技感興趣,尤其是本單元涉及的人工智能話題,但是關(guān)于人工智能的相關(guān)英文表達(dá)不清楚,因此教師對教學(xué)活動(dòng)應(yīng)進(jìn)行合理的設(shè)計(jì),將真實(shí)情境代入到語境中,由易到難,由簡到繁,逐步鋪設(shè)臺階,把學(xué)生可能遇到的困難挫折降到最低。 三、教學(xué)目標(biāo) After leaning this lesson,students can 通過本課的學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生能夠 1.understand the key information about AI and summarize the topic. 聽懂關(guān)于人工智能應(yīng)用場景的關(guān)鍵信息,概括主題; identify the language which expressing pros and cons in the dialogue. 識別對話中表達(dá)贊同與反對的語言,培養(yǎng)思維差異感知能力; be able to put forward their own views and respond each other's views on AI. 就人工智能在生活中應(yīng)用的話題,提出自己的看法,回應(yīng)對方的觀點(diǎn); 4. dialectical view of influence on scientific and technological development.辯證的看待科技發(fā)展帶來的影響。 四、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)、難點(diǎn)分析 教學(xué)重點(diǎn):識別并表達(dá)贊同與反對的句型。 教學(xué)難點(diǎn):能根據(jù)細(xì)節(jié)信息識別對話場景,然后進(jìn)行信息轉(zhuǎn)述,模仿練習(xí)。 教學(xué)過程 Before class課前: 將學(xué)生分成四個(gè)小組,每個(gè)小組成員分別準(zhǔn)備人工智能的相關(guān)圖片、視頻等,課上分享。 During class課中: Step 1 Warming Up 1. 鋪墊活動(dòng): Brainstorm. 激活學(xué)生思維: T: Let's share the pictures and videos prepared by the students before class 教師分享課前各小組準(zhǔn)備的關(guān)于人工智能的圖片和視頻,以激活學(xué)生思維。 *(2)微課呈現(xiàn):教師提前準(zhǔn)備相關(guān)人工智能微課 T: Let's take a look at a micro class to better understand what artificial intelligence is? 2. Look and match. 處理教材活動(dòng)1。本活動(dòng)呈現(xiàn)了4個(gè)人工智能的應(yīng)用場景,每個(gè)小組分別用自己的語言簡單描述一個(gè)場景,并在小組內(nèi)調(diào)查哪些成員見到或者體驗(yàn)過圖片中的場景。 T: Have you ever seen or experienced such a scene? 完成人工智能應(yīng)用的場景圖片與對應(yīng)描述相匹配,教師點(diǎn)名各小組代表描述圖片。 *(2)小組組長總結(jié)本組調(diào)查結(jié)果,例如S:Five students in our group have used mobile payment......No students have experienced robots putting car parts together...... 調(diào)查問卷 3. (1)處理教材活動(dòng)2。學(xué)生觀察下面4個(gè)句子勾選出表示不贊同的句子 *(2)教師補(bǔ)充一些表示贊同與不贊同的句子,學(xué)生進(jìn)行歸類 教師可以問一些關(guān)于人工智能方面的問題鞏固贊同不贊同句型 T: Artificial intelligence will replace human beings S: I couldn’t agree more/I am not really sure about that T: Mobile payment is more convenient than cash payment S: I am all for that/I don’t agree with you T: The brand of mobile phone is very important S: That’s a great point/ I am not sure that’s correct (設(shè)計(jì)意圖:本環(huán)節(jié)旨在激活學(xué)生關(guān)于人工智能場景圖片的詞匯儲備,表達(dá)贊同與不贊同的句型,創(chuàng)設(shè)新的關(guān)于人工智能方面情景來鞏固句型,為下一環(huán)節(jié)的聽力活動(dòng)做語言儲備。) Step 2 Listening 觀看汽車廠機(jī)器人組裝汽車的動(dòng)圖 We can see robots putting different parts of a car together on the assembly line. 觀看機(jī)器人在飯店工作的圖片 We can see robots are serving the customers. 1. Listen and tick. 處理教材活動(dòng)3。學(xué)生在聽前讀選項(xiàng),預(yù)測聽力內(nèi)容。教師講解生詞,幫助學(xué)生理解選項(xiàng)內(nèi)容。然后聽錄音,結(jié)合選項(xiàng)選擇主題,并對聽力材料從整體上進(jìn)行把握和判斷。聽后教師檢查并反饋。 T:What’s the topic of the dialogue? 2. Listen and choose. 處理教材活動(dòng)4。學(xué)生首先觀察圖片,進(jìn)行初步判斷。然后聽錄音,抓關(guān)鍵詞,選擇對話中提到的場景。聽后教師檢查并反饋。 T: Please observe the following four pictures. Listen and complete. 處理教材活動(dòng)5,本活動(dòng)要求學(xué)生在前兩個(gè)活動(dòng)的基礎(chǔ)上,聽第三遍錄音,以第一人稱的角度補(bǔ)全Mary對聽力內(nèi)容進(jìn)行轉(zhuǎn)述。 (1)個(gè)人活動(dòng),學(xué)生通讀短文,完成參觀汽車廠經(jīng)歷的短文 (2)全部活動(dòng),教師點(diǎn)名檢查,讓學(xué)生通讀短文給出答案,并給予反饋。 T: Listen to the tape for the third time and fill in the suitable words. (設(shè)計(jì)意圖:本環(huán)節(jié)旨在訓(xùn)練學(xué)生根據(jù)已有的信息預(yù)測聽力內(nèi)容,在聽的過程中獲取和歸納關(guān)鍵信息,側(cè)重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生語言溝通能力和語言交互能力,通過改變敘述角度重新組織語言,培養(yǎng)職場語言溝通能力與邏輯表達(dá)能力。) Step 3 Speaking 1. Listen, read and underline. 處理教材活動(dòng)6。本活動(dòng)為聽力后的第一個(gè)口語活動(dòng),要求學(xué)生模仿語音語調(diào)跟讀并標(biāo)出表示贊同與不贊同的句子,為后面的模仿練習(xí)做輸入準(zhǔn)備。 小組活動(dòng):學(xué)生聽錄音并跟讀,注意模仿語音語調(diào),教師也可以邀請每個(gè)小組兩位學(xué)生進(jìn)行對話練習(xí) T: Please follow and imitate the pronunciation and intonation of the dialogue, after that, I will invite two students from each group to practice the dialogue. 個(gè)人活動(dòng):學(xué)生用線畫出表示贊同與不贊同的句子 T: Please underline the sentences of pros and cons. 教師就對話中的重點(diǎn)詞句進(jìn)行講解,尤其是對話中分詞做定語的判斷與表達(dá) ?There was no one working in the screen factory we visited this morning. 我們上午參觀的屏幕制造工廠一個(gè)工人都沒有。 “working in the screen factory”是現(xiàn)在分詞短語作后置定語,修飾“one”。 “we visited this morning”為定語從句,修飾“factory”。 We can only see robots putting parts of the screen together. 我們只看到機(jī)器人把不同的屏幕零件組裝起來?!皃utting parts of the screen together”是現(xiàn)在分詞作賓語補(bǔ)足語,與賓語“robots”一起作“see”的復(fù)合賓語,及see sb doing sth 的結(jié)構(gòu)。 ?Look around,there are no servers serving too! 你看這家餐館,也是沒有一個(gè)服務(wù)生!“serving”為現(xiàn)在分詞作后置定語,修飾“servers”。 ?And it is said that all the dishes cooked by robots are as delicious as those made by chefs. 而且據(jù)說機(jī)器人做的菜都和廚師做的一樣美味呢。 “it is said that”據(jù)說 “cooked by robots”和“made by chefs”均為過去分詞短語作后置定語,分別修飾“dishes”和“ those”. ?It is humans that design and control robots. 機(jī)器人也是人設(shè)計(jì)和控制的。 “It is…that…”為強(qiáng)調(diào)句型,此處強(qiáng)調(diào)的為主語部分。去掉“It is…that”之后句子依然完整,由此可判斷是否為強(qiáng)調(diào)句。被強(qiáng)調(diào)部分可以是主語、賓語、表語。 ?To be honest, I prefer the traditional restaurants. 說實(shí)話我更喜歡傳統(tǒng)餐館?!癟o be honest”意為“老實(shí)說,說實(shí)話”,用于口語表達(dá)。近義詞有“to tell you the truth”“to be frank”。 ? We will have more time to enjoy our life.我們將有更多的時(shí)間享受生活。 “to enjoy our life”是不定式做后置定語修飾time ? In terms of 依據(jù),根據(jù)...來說,在...方面 2. Imitate and practice. 處理教材活動(dòng)7。 (1)小組活動(dòng):指定每兩組同學(xué)描述一個(gè)圖片場景,根據(jù)相關(guān)語言和圖片信息,參照活動(dòng)6的形式進(jìn)行對話練習(xí),教師再邀請每小組內(nèi)的搭檔進(jìn)行對話展示,根據(jù)下面的評價(jià)表,評出最佳搭檔。 Practice the dialogue based on the situations. 參考對話: A: I have seen a robot receptionist working in the department store. It is amazing! B: Oh, yes, we can see the robot receptionist never gets bored of welcoming customers. A: AI is used in many fields now and our life is getting more enjoyable and convenient. B: I agree with you. Look around, it's all robot receptionists in department stores. A: AI is used in many fields now and our life is getting more enjoyable and convenient. B: In terms of costs and efficiency, we are one the same page. 對話練習(xí)活動(dòng)評價(jià)表 參考評分:非常滿意10分,滿意8分,基本滿意6分 3. Role play. 處理教材活動(dòng)8,通過活動(dòng)6語料范本操練和活動(dòng)7模仿練習(xí),學(xué)生已經(jīng)掌握了有關(guān)人工智能產(chǎn)品應(yīng)用話題基本語言表達(dá),在以上活動(dòng)的基礎(chǔ)上,本活動(dòng)要求學(xué)生對語言知識和語言表達(dá)遷移到真實(shí)語境中,以角色扮演的形式進(jìn)行自主練習(xí),此活動(dòng)中角色人物,分別是銷售人員、妻子和丈夫三個(gè)角色進(jìn)行練習(xí),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的職場語言溝通能力和職業(yè)素養(yǎng)。 參考對話: Sales Person: Good morning. What can I do for you? Peter Jackson: I want to buy a sweeping robot for my wife, because the sweeping robot can help her with the housework. Sales Person: OK, the sweeping robot is easy operation and super quiet while working. Peter Jackson: How long can the sweeping robot last? Sales Person: It can be rechargeable 2500mAh Li-battery, so it lasts about 24 hours. Zhang Qian: The robots are not humans after all. It doesn't work like a human. Sales Person: It is the latest design. It can be remote controlled by Bluetooth. Peter Jackson: I will take it. I think it can help my wife a lot. Zhang Qian: Thank you . 小組成員識別對話情景,三人一組選擇不同角色,編排對話,可進(jìn)行角色互換。 教師隨機(jī)邀請各組學(xué)生代表進(jìn)行展示,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生互評并給予反饋。教師對學(xué)生表現(xiàn)評價(jià)時(shí)應(yīng)考慮核心素養(yǎng)的具體要求和體現(xiàn),主要包括以下幾個(gè)方面: Checklist for the salesperson: 1)Welcomed the customer. 2)Appreciated the customers’ attention toward products. 3)Demonstrated good attitude and good sales skills. 4)Came up with solutions to remove customers’ worries. 5)Introduced the products objectively. 6)Sold the product successfully. Checklist for the husband: 1)Explained the reason(s) to buy the cleaning robot for his wife. 2)Expressed the benefits when using a cleaning robot.
