Unit 9 LearningLesson 3 The secret of your memory教材分析本節(jié)課是這個單元的第三個課時，課型為閱讀課，主要從人對感受深的事件記憶深刻，圖片式記憶，艾賓浩斯遺忘曲線以及人類大腦容量等四個方面介紹了人類記憶的秘密。讓學(xué)生了解到如何能更好的利用自己的記憶力。教學(xué)目標與核心素養(yǎng)語言技能目標：（1）能夠在理解文章大意的基礎(chǔ)上找出主題句。（2）能夠運用本節(jié)課所學(xué)到的重點單詞以及句型完成文章的簡要復(fù)述。   2. 語言知識目標：(1)能夠正確運用以下單詞：arrangement, childhood, emotional, photographic, periodically,technique等。(2)能夠正確理解以及使用主謂一致。3. 文化意識目標：了解人類記憶的秘密。4. 情感態(tài)度目標：了解人類記憶的秘密以及正確利用自己的記憶。教學(xué)重難點 重點：1. 能夠用書中所學(xué)知識介紹記憶的秘密能夠正確運用主謂一致。難點：1.能夠正確認識以及使用主謂一致。2.能夠提升任務(wù)型閱讀能力。教學(xué)過程教學(xué)步驟教學(xué)活動設(shè)計意圖  Step IWarming up and lead in Activate and share:1.T asks students which of the following things do you find easy to remember? Can you explain why?names and faces .numbers: telephone number; passwords, etc..stories.facts and arrangements.things that happened long ago.things that happened recently2.If you were going to meet a memory expert, what questions would you ask him/her?   1.通過問題讓同學(xué)們思考自己在日常生活中那些東西是比較容易記住的以及為什么，這會讓學(xué)生更容易融入到情境中，從而為閱讀做準備。2.通過詢問學(xué)生如果遇到記憶專家，會問那些問題，為下一步閱讀做準備。Step 2Pre -readingRead and exploreRead the text quickly. Does the text answer any of your questions in Activity 2?     通過驗證文章是否回答了學(xué)生自己的問題這種方式，讓學(xué)生更加有閱讀的興趣。  Step 3 Fast-readingRead the text again. Write T or F. Correct the false statements. 鍛煉學(xué)生任務(wù)型閱讀的能力             Step 4Deep-readingLet Ss read the text carefully and answer the questions.  Let Ss prepare a presentation to introduce “Roots and Shoots” .     Pair  work:1.What suggestions would you provide for each of the four questions discussed? Discuss with your partner 2.Match the suggestions with the questions and put them back in the text 3.What truths about memory does Jemima Gryaznov discuss in the text? What advice does she give to improve one's memory?  進一步閱讀使學(xué)生了解更多關(guān)于“Roots and Shoots ”的內(nèi)容。 之前都是文章的輸入，現(xiàn)在通過用做一個Presentation的形式來輸出學(xué)到的內(nèi)容。                                                                                                                             通過讓學(xué)生自己思考一些建議，讓學(xué)生學(xué)會更好的利用自己的記憶。2.匹配科學(xué)的建議，通過發(fā)現(xiàn)自己給的建議與科學(xué)建議的不同之處，更好的科學(xué)的在自己之后的學(xué)習(xí)生活中運用這些建議。3.之前的幾步都是知識的輸入，這一步對知識進行輸出，讓學(xué)生復(fù)述專家的建議   Step 5Focus on language        Step 5 Post-reading Circle the subjects of the sentences in the Sentence builder. Then use the correct form of the verbs to complete the sentences.   Choose the correct options.    Read the tips for improving your memory. Which tips seem most/least useful? Which, if any, would be useful for English learning?  主謂一致練習(xí)：通過找主語讓學(xué)生明白主謂一致的概念以及使用方法    通過選擇正確的形式加深學(xué)生對主謂一致的認知與理解。   將一些記憶方法運用到日常記憶以及英語學(xué)習(xí)中。
