過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)與一般過(guò)去時(shí)的區(qū)別：一般過(guò)去時(shí)與過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)時(shí)間都是發(fā)生在過(guò)去。一般過(guò)去時(shí)強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作的發(fā)生或狀態(tài)的存在；而過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作正在進(jìn)行的延續(xù)性。其結(jié)構(gòu): was / were + 動(dòng)詞現(xiàn)在分詞
試比較:I gt up at five the day befre yesterday. 前天我是五點(diǎn)起床的。He was painting the lab the whle day yesterday. 昨天他一整天都在粉刷實(shí)驗(yàn)室。
一般過(guò)去時(shí)的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)主要有：yesterday (mrning, afternn, evening), last night (week, mnth, year), ag, the day befre yesterday, in 2003, just nw, lng lng ag, ne day等。
過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)有:at this / that time yesterday, the whle evening, all day yesterday等。試比較:He intrduced Tm t us just nw. 剛才他向我們介紹了湯姆。She was ding sme washing all day yesterday. 昨天她洗了一整天的衣服。
