拓展： 怎樣用英語打電話
⑴ 打電話人接通電話后可說：Hell! 接著說：This is sb. speaking. 我是…… May I speak t sb.?能讓……接電話嗎？ Is sb. in? ……在家嗎？ 但不能問：Wh are yu?
接電話人可說： Hell! Gd mrning/afternn/ evening. 緊接著將自己的電話號碼或姓名告訴對方。如：(This is) 123456. / This is Jim speaking.
⑵ 問對方是誰： Wh’s speaking (calling)? 你是誰？ May I have yur name? 我能知道你的名字嗎？ Is that sb. (speaking)? 是……嗎？
不能說：Wh are yu?
⑶代人接電話，最好說： What name shall I give? 請告知姓名，以便轉(zhuǎn)告。 若要離開去叫人，可以跟對方說： Hld the line, please. 別掛斷。（我就去找他/她 聽電話。） Hld n fr a mment. 請等一會兒。 反之，若電話要找的人在身邊，代接電話的人可說： It’s fr yu.或Fr yu. （你的電話）。
2. I’m srry t hear that. 很遺憾聽到這個消息。
當我們聽到對方說了一個令人遺憾的或不好的消息時，會用這句話來表示自己的同情和理解。
3. Please tell him nt t wrry abut his lessns and have a gd rest. 請告訴他不要擔心功課，好好休息。
(1)本句是祈使句。tell sb. nt t d sth. 表示“告訴某人不要做某事”。
例：老師告訴我們不要遲到。 The teacher tells us nt t be late fr schl.
(2)have a gd rest 好好休息 have和一些名詞連用，表示一種活動。例：have class have a picnic have a lk have a match have a party
