教學(xué)步驟
Step 1. Warm up
1. Sing the sng “Say the Wrd”.
2. Try the tngue twister:
Peter Piper picked a peck f pickled peppers. Hw many peppers did Peter Piper pick?
Step 2.
Play the tape with the bks clsed. Let them write main pints during their listening. Then ask a student t retell what the reading is abut.
Step 3. Read the text and answer the fllwing questins:
1. What grade is Teresa in?
2. What language des she speak at hme?
3. What des she ften read?
4. When des she watch English mvies?
5. Where can yu find the wrds fr many English sngs?
Because the reading is harder, the teacher shuld check the answers and explain the text when it is necessary.
Step 4. Discussin
Sme students may think English is hard t learn. D they think what is hard t learn English? Ask the students t make a list f the questins they met in their learning.
Divide the class int several grups and find the right ways t slve the prblems. Give them mre time t have a further discussin.
Finally the teacher can sum what they say and give them sme gd advice, t.
Step 5.
Listen t the text fr several times. Let them read after it and imitate until they can read it crrectly.
Step 6.
Let sme students read the text in frnt f the class. Encurage them t read ludly and imitate the crrect prnunciatin and intnatin.
