【知識積累·練前熱身】
數(shù)詞是用來表示事物的數(shù)目大小和順序先后的詞,也就是表示“多少”和“第幾”的詞。
表示數(shù)目的多少的詞叫基數(shù)詞。
基數(shù)詞的構成。

1. 表示事物的先后順序的詞稱為序數(shù)詞。
2. 序數(shù)詞的構成。

整十數(shù)的序數(shù)詞的構成是將基數(shù)詞詞尾的y變?yōu)閕e,再加-th

兩位及兩位以上的基數(shù)詞變?yōu)樾驍?shù)詞時,僅將個位數(shù)變成序數(shù)詞

ne—first, tw—secnd, three—third, five—fifth, eight—eighth, nine—ninth, twelve—twelfth
數(shù)詞的用法:
1. 表示年、月、日。
(1) 表示“年”用基數(shù)詞,通常先讀前面兩位數(shù),再讀后面兩位數(shù)。如:
1949 讀作 nineteen hundred and frty-nine 或 nineteen frty- nine
1902 讀作 nineteen hundred and tw 或 nineteen zer tw
(2) 表示“月”, 用“介詞in +某月”。如:
in July 在七月
(3) 表示“日期”,前面要用定冠詞the,表示具體某日要用介詞n。如:
n the twenty-furth 在二十四日
(4) 表示“某年某月”用介詞in,表示“某年某月某日”用介詞n。如:
in August 2017 讀作in August, twenty seventeen
n Nvember 23, 1986 讀作n Nvember the twenty-third, nineteen eighty-six
2. 表示時刻。
(1) 表示整點, 用“鐘點數(shù) + ’clck”來表示 (’clck常省略)。如:
five(’clck)五點 (5:00)
(2) 表示半點, 用“鐘點數(shù) + thirty”或“half + past + 鐘點數(shù)”表示。如:
six thirty/half past six 六點半(6:30)
(3) 表示幾點幾分,用“鐘點數(shù)+分鐘數(shù)”表示。半小時內,也可以用“分鐘數(shù)+past+鐘點數(shù)”表示。超過半小時,也可以用“60- 分鐘數(shù) + t + 下一個鐘點數(shù)”表示。如:
eight seven/seven past eight 八點過七分 (8:07)
seven fifty/ten t eight 八點差十分 (7:50)

and
“而且、和”,用于連接兩個意思對等的單詞、短語或句子
He likes Chinese and PE.
他喜歡語文和體育。
but
“但是”,常用于連接兩個有轉折語氣的單詞、短語或句子
I like PE,but my sister desn’t.我喜歡體育,但是我妹妹不喜歡。
because
“因為”,用來解釋直接的原因,回答why提問時必須用because
—Why d yu like PE?——你為什么喜歡體育?
—Because it’s exciting.——因為它令人激動。
【句型結構】
1.and連接兩個分句時,分句本身都有自己的主語,如果第二個分句的主語與第一個分句的主語相同,則第二個分句中的主語可以省略。
2.but 前后的兩個句子、短語或單詞在意義上形成鮮明對比,but 用來連接兩個分句或兩個較長的短語時,but 前面一般要加逗號。
3.because的基本句型:“句1+because+句2”,或“because+句1,+句2”。

because是連詞,后面接句子;because f是介詞短語,其后接名詞、代詞、動名詞等。
