Dave and Ben decided t g camping at the ft f a muntain n a sunny Sunday. They were excited abut the adventure and packed their tents, sleeping bags, clthes, drinks and sme fd. Dave was an experienced camper, always well-prepared fr any situatin that might arise during his utdr adventures. S he put a trch, a whistle and a cmpass in his bag.
They began their great adventure early in the mrning. After a lng walk, they arrived at the campsite which was at the ft f a beautiful muntain.
The sky was clear, and the river beside their campsite flwed gently. They set up their tents and spent the afternn explring the area arund the muntain.
As the evening apprached, the sky started t clud ver. Suddenly, it began t rain heavily. The rain hit the tents with a lud nise, and the river began t rise rapidly. Dave and Ben were a bit wrried but thught it wuld pass sn. Hwever, the situatin gt wrse. The heavy rain cntinued, and the river flded. Their campsite was quickly flded by the river, and in the chas, bth f them quickly grabbed their bags and rushed ut f the tents. Then they gt separated and lst their way.
Ben was in a panic. He had tried t fllw the directin f the river, thinking it might lead him t a familiar area. But the fld had changed the landscape, and he cmpletely lst his way. He kept calling ut fr Dave, fear and desperatin flding ver him.
Meanwhile, Dave was scared but tried t stay calm. He lked arund fr any signs f Ben r a way ut. The surrunding area was nw a muddy mess, and the water was still rising. He shuted fr Ben but there was n reply. He decided t mve higher up the muntain, hping t find a safer place and maybe a better view t lk fr Ben. As Dave climbed higher, he finally fund a small cave that was relatively dry.
