I used t be a lnely girl sitting at the back f the classrm.Having failed the cllege entrance exams and changed schls twice,I seldm smiled.Every day I wuld sit at the desk,staring int textbks and exercises,mtinless and heavy-hearted.Hwever,my classmates were in a different picture.They were playing,laughing and chatting delightedly.Besides,I hated it when they were always answering the teachers’ questins,ludly and cnfidently.Obviusly,I had n friends in this fiercely cmpetitive class.
Life is harder fr senir students.Hardly des a day g by withut exercises r tests.Every time when the scres came ut,mine wuldn’t be the first r secnd but last.I was especially tired f the endless exercises and exams,which I seemingly wuld never d well in.I was under a lt f pressure,feeling like a fish being fried in a pan.
Hanging ver me was a dark clud.The nly dim light came frm time I stepped int the classrm,he welcmed me with a warm smile;every time my gaze began t wander ver the classrm r stare ut f the windw,his caring eyes wuld draw me back t his class.Besides,he was the nly teacher wh invited me t the ffice,talking abut my studies and scres.I remembered when I came ut f his ffice,I felt refreshed believing that I culd wrk harder.
I was feeling everything was changing fr the better.I prepared hard fr the final exam f the first semester,desiring t prve that I was nt the last ne.S befre Mr.Smith tld us the test result,I was expecting smething gd in stre fr me.
But I was still the last ne in the class.A burst f sadness and shame cnsuming me,I was heartbrken.
