詞義猜測題在高考中出現(xiàn)次數(shù)通常是1題。根據(jù)上下文猜測生詞含義或熟詞生義是考生必須掌握的一項重要閱讀技能。生詞不是孤立封閉的,它出現(xiàn)的句子、段落,都會留下很多暗示和線索。根據(jù)生詞與上下文之間的關(guān)系就可推測出生詞的含義。

題目類型包括代詞指代題、單詞或短語猜測題、句意猜測題。
命題點01 代詞指代題
代詞指代題旨在考查考生對文章的理解和把握能力。文章中的代詞it, that, he, him, them等可以指上文提到的人或物,其中it和that還可以指一件事。需要運用“找替代法”認真閱讀、仔細推敲代詞所在句和前后相鄰句,分析人稱轉(zhuǎn)換和動作變換的詳細過程,弄清來龍去脈,從而準(zhǔn)確推斷其所指代的對象。有時代詞指代的對象相隔較遠,需要認真查找;有時需要對前文提到的內(nèi)容進行總結(jié),才能得出代詞所指代的對象。
