創(chuàng)設故事情景呈現例詞,激發(fā)學生的學習興趣。讓學生在情景中感知字母組合ay/ai的發(fā)音,觀察例詞結構中共有的特征,并幫助他們總結出其發(fā)音規(guī)則。培養(yǎng)學生的探究合作精神,提高學生的觀察能力和邏輯思維能力。

(1)Learn the wrds with “ay”.
T: Tday is Mnday. (Pint t a by at schl n the PPT.) Lk, it’s his birthday. S we can say: Happy birthday! His mther prepares a birthday cake fr him. But it’s a lng way frm his huse t his schl.
Write dwn the wrds “birthday, Mnday, say, way” n the blackbard.
T: Observe these wrds, please. What can yu find?
Students discuss in grups. Then they give their answers. The teacher marks the same letter cmbinatin “ay” f these wrds with red chalks.
T: Can yu read the letter cmbinatins with red marks? Try t find the prnunciatin rule.
Students read them again and perceive the sund carefully.
Ss: They have the same sund /e?/.
(2)Learn the wrds with “ai”.
T: It is rainy. After the rain, there is a rainbw in the sky. Hw beautiful!
Write dwn the wrds “rainy, rainbw” n the blackbard.
T: The by is wrried. He wants t get hme early. He wants t paint a picture. He can’t wait.
Shw a picture f “paint” n the PPT and d the actin. (出示課件) Then write dwn the wrds “paint, wait” n the blackbard.
Students bserve these wrds. They find the same letter cmbinatin “ai” in these wrds and the prnunciatin rule in the same way.
(3)Sum up.
Sum up the prnunciatin rule f “ay/ai” with students. Lead students t find the difference f the psitins f “ay/ai” in the wrds. It is that “ai” always appears in the middle f the wrds and “ay” always appears at the end f the wrds.

(2)Spell these wrds like this: /e?/—rainy, /e?/—say… Let students try t imitate and practice the sund /e?/ in these wrds and have a reading cmpetitin amng grups.

(2)Play the recrding. (出示課件) Let students listen t the recrding and try t write dwn the answers.
(3)Play the recrding again and check the answers.(出示課件) Then students read the sentences tgether. (課件出示:教材P50 Let’s spell板塊第三部分的聽力材料及答案)
(4)Ask students t chse ne sentence frm abve and write it n the line. Ask students t pay attentin t the crrect writing—the first letter f a sentence must be capitalized; the line can be seen as the third line in a fur-line grid.
