Key sentences:a. Greenwood Park is the best place to go to on weekends. b. The park is the most crowded place on weekends because almost everyone goes there to see the street performers.c. Because it is the most beautiful school in my town.d.Beijing is the most popular city for visitors.教學難點：Write a passage about the best places/ things in your town.教學過程(表格描述)教學環(huán)節(jié)主要教學活動設置意圖Step 1Lead-in( PPT 3-9)1. Ask Ss to translate the phrases and then make sentences.2. Show some pictures to Ss to learn the comparatives and superlatives of the words.3. Read them. Lead in 3a.復習本單元所學的重點短語和結構以及形容詞和副詞的最高級，為本節(jié)課的寫作提供話題素材。Step 2Presentation(PPT 10-11)Work on 3a. 1.Ask Ss to look at the words in the box and think of their superlative forms.2. Ask Ss to read the article about Greenwood Park and then fill in the blanks with the correct superlative forms of the adjectives and adverbs in the box.     3. Check answers in class.4. Read 3a and pay attention to the superlative of the words.完成3a的課文。用所給形容詞或者副詞的最高級完成這篇文章。 Step 3Writing  (PPT 12-18) Work on 3b,3c. 1.Ask Ss to fill in the blanks according to their town. Think about some of the best places/things in your town. Why are they the best?2. Choose one student to say his or her answers. Begin like this:The best middle school in my town is No.1 Middle School. Because it is the most beautiful school in my town.3. Ask Ss to write about their town and the best places/things there.4. Look at the mind map and use the guide to write it. 5.Show one of the good passages to other Ss.6.Analyze the good sentences and correct the errors.學生回答3b所給的問題，根據(jù)這些內容以及寫作導圖寫一篇短文，重點描述城鎮(zhèn)最好的地方以及原因。學生完成短文后，找出一兩篇范文展示并講評。Step 4Practice (PPT 19-20)Work on 4. 1.Make Ss discuss the towns/cities in China with a partner. Then tell the class which town/city they think is the best.2. Make conversations and practice the superlatives.討論中國城市/城鎮(zhèn)之最，練習用最高級表達自己的觀點并給出理由。Step 5Self Check  (PPT 21-25)Ask Ss to read the words in the box and say their superlative forms.Make Ss fill in the blanks on their own.Call some Ss to read the sentences.Ask Ss to read the information. Then correct the mistakes in the sentences below.Check answers in class.完成Self Check的習題, 練習語法和語篇。Step 6    Exercises (PPT 26-27)Practice the language points and the grammar.通過單選和完成句子等形式練習所學的語言點和語法。Step 7Homework(PPT 28)1.Review the unit and prepare for a test.2.Write a short passage about your survey of supermarkets in your city.本節(jié)課的作業(yè)主要寫一篇關于超市的調查報告。以此來練習寫作本單元的主要話題。板書設計Unit 4 What’s the best movie theater?Section B(3a-Self Check)              教學反思1. 圍繞本單元的話題寫作時，盡量用上本單元所學的語法和基本句型。比如本單元就可以用最高級形式表達每個場所的不同特征。2. 要求學生熟練運用形容詞和副詞的最高級，特別是不規(guī)則形容詞和副詞的最高級。
