Key sentences:-What will you do if you visit an old people's home?-If I do that, I'll bring the old people some flowers.教學(xué)難點(diǎn):Write a passage about ones problems and solutions.教學(xué)過程(表格描述)教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)主要教學(xué)活動(dòng)設(shè)置意圖Step 1Lead-in(PPT 3-8)1. Guide Ss to review the phrases and then read them.2. Make Ss talk about his/her problems and what she/he should do, using the following patterns: He/She is…     I think he/she should…     If he/she…, he/she will… 3-8屏的設(shè)計(jì)是為了讓學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)2b短語談?wù)搯栴}提出自己的解決方案。為本節(jié)課的寫作提供話題素材。Step 2Presentation(PPT 9-10)Work on 3a. 1. Ask Ss to read the instructions.Talk to someone you know. Find out his/her three biggest worries. Try to think of some solutions to the problems and write them down.  2. Make Ss complete the task. Ask someone what his/her three biggest worries are. Then think of possible solutions to the problems. Make simple notes.完成3a的課文,填入問題焦慮以及解決方法。這是寫作素材積累。 Step 3Writing  (PPT 11-15)Work on 3b,3c. 1. Ask Ss to complete the task in 3b using the notes in 3a and the structures in 3b to help with the writing.2. Ask some Ss to read their writing in 3b to the class.3. Correct mistakes if there are any.4. Call attention to 3c.Read the instructions to the class.5. Writing practice. Ask Ss to write their advice for their friend's second and third problem following the structures in 3b.6. Ask some Ss to present their writing.7. Correct the mistakes.學(xué)生根據(jù)3a的信息寫下3b句子,其中要描述朋友的問題和麻煩,并提出自己的建議。學(xué)生完成后,找出一兩篇范文來展示并糾錯(cuò)。Step 4Practice (PPT 16-20)Work on 4. 1. Read the instructions for this activity to the class.Your school is taking part in the project “We Can Help!” Add more items to the poster. Then talk about what you will do if you take part in the project.  2Ask Ss to read the sample conversation.3Point out the poster. Ask Ss to add more items to it.4Pair-work. Talk about what you will do if you take part in the project with your partner. 5Ask some pairs to present their conversations.6. Review if clause.利用if-clause表達(dá)表格里的信息,練習(xí)對話。復(fù)習(xí)if條件從句。Step 5Self Check(PPT 21-24)Make Ss read the words in the box first then fill in the blanks. Ss read the conversation then complete it with the words in the box. Ss make sentences using their imagination. 4. Ask some Ss to present their answers.5. Check the answers one by one.用所學(xué)的if條件狀語從句完成Self Check。總結(jié)本單元的知識點(diǎn)Step 6    Exercises (PPT 25-26)Practice the language points and the grammar. 通過完成對話、詞形填空等形式練習(xí)所學(xué)的語言點(diǎn)和if條件狀語從句Step 7Homework(PPT 27)1. Copy and recite the new words & Grammar Focus.2. 模仿編五個(gè)對話。    I think I’ll do ____________.    If you do, you’ll ____________. 本節(jié)課的作業(yè)主要記憶單詞和語法。以此來練習(xí)寫作本單元的problems-solutions的對話。板書設(shè)計(jì) Unit 10 If you go to the party, you'll have a great time!Section B(3a-Self Check)          教學(xué)反思圍繞本單元的話題寫作時(shí),盡量用上本單元所學(xué)if-clause的語法和基本句型。比如本單元就問題以及解決方法寫作。培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的解決問題能力。
