I didnt use to be popular in school.c. You used to be short, didn’t you? Yes, I did./No, I didn’t.d. Did he use to wear glasses?  Yes, he did. /No, he didn’t.3.Structures:       used to+be/do/have/…教學(xué)難點(diǎn): Learn how to use “used to be/do”.   2. Learn to change it into different patterns.教學(xué)過程(表格描述)教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)主要教學(xué)活動(dòng)設(shè)置意圖Step 1Lead-in(PPT 3-9)Review the words and sentences of 3a. 2. Review the usage of used to be/do.復(fù)習(xí)上節(jié)課所學(xué)3a的單詞和句子以及used to be/do用法,導(dǎo)入本課時(shí)的語法。解釋used to be/do的陳述句、否定句、一般疑問句以及反意疑問句的肯定否定回答。Step 2Presentation(PPT 10-16)1. Ask Ss to read the sentences in Grammar Focus . Then explain them , make Ss practice them in pairs. 2. Change it into different patterns. 3. Compare the structures with others.出示Grammar Focus,后做練習(xí)。辨析used to do,be used to n. /pron./doing, get/become used to sth./doing sth.,be used to do,be used for doing sth.,讓學(xué)生總結(jié)該用法。Step 3Practice (PPT 17-20)Work on 4a. 1. Ask Ss to read and then write sentences about the past using used to. 2. Call some Ss read the sentences and then check answers in class.Work on 4b. 1. Make Ss look at the information in the chart and write sentences about Emily on their own.2. Call some Ss read their sentences and check answers.3. Ask Ss to read the sentences in 4a and 4b.利用所學(xué)的語法練習(xí)過去和現(xiàn)在的比較,熟練掌握用法。Step 4Pair work  (PPT 21-26)Work on 4c. 1. Ask Ss to read the instruction of 4c .Which of these things did you use to be afraid of? Which ones are you still afraid of? Check the boxes and then ask your partner.2. Make Ss work in pairs. Ask and answer like this: a.I used to be afraid of being alone. Im still afraid of being alone.b. -Did you use to be afraid of being alone?-Yes, I used to be afraid of being alone. I’m still afraid of being alone.學(xué)習(xí)語法后, 設(shè)計(jì)一個(gè)分角色表演的對(duì)話,學(xué)生通過口語練習(xí)進(jìn)一步鞏固used to  be/do的用法。Step 5Exercises (PPT 27-30)Show Ss some exercises to practice the key words, the target language and key sentences. 通過單選、句型轉(zhuǎn)換、完成句子等形式練習(xí)所學(xué)的內(nèi)容。Step 6中考鏈接(PPT 31) Practice the usage of used to be/do.選中考題練習(xí)used to be的用法。Step 7Homework(PPT 32)List the things you used to do when you were a child using the structureI used to, while, now設(shè)計(jì)該作業(yè)主要使學(xué)生們熟練運(yùn)用used to be/ do將過去和現(xiàn)在的對(duì)比,并從中學(xué)會(huì)如何更好的成長(zhǎng)。板書設(shè)計(jì)Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark.
