Sichuan Prvince is lcated in the suthwestern part f China. It enjys many wrld-famus places f interest, such as Jiuzhai Valley and Dujiangyan Irrigatin System.
Jiuzhai Valley Natinal Park is a nature reserve in the nrth f Sichuan Prvince. ①What is the mst impressive is its many multi-level waterfalls and clurful lakes. ②What's mre, walking in the nature reserve, yu have a chance t see rare animals like giant pandas and glden mnkeys. There are als many species f rare plants prtected there. Anther famus scenic spt is Dujiangyan Irrigatin System. It dates frm ver 2，000 years ag. ③Hwever, it is still playing an imprtant part in irrigatin tday.
Sichuan is a wnderful place. I'm sure the visitrs will be amazed by the beautiful scenery in Jiuzhai Valley as well as the cnstructin f Dujiangyan Irrigatin System.

A Vacatin with My Mther
I had an interesting childhd. It was filled with surprise and amusements, all because f my mther — lving, sweet, yet absent-minded and frgetful. One strange family trip we tk when I was eleven tells us a lt abut her.[懸念1]
My tw sets f grandparents lived in Clrad and Nrth Dakta, and my parents decided t spend a few weeks driving t thse states and seeing all the sights alng the way. Finally, the mment f ur departure arrived, and we laded suitcases, bks, games, camping equipment, and a tent int the car and bravely drve ff. We bravely drve ff again tw hurs later after we'd returned hme t get the purse and traveller's checks Mum had frgtten.[懸念2]
David and I were always a little nervus when using gas statin bathrms if Mum was driving while Dad slept. “Yu stand utside the dr and play lkut (放哨) while I g, and I will stand utside the dr and play lkut while yu g.” I had terrible pictures in my mind: “Hney, where are the kids？” “What？！ Oh, I thught they were being awfully quiet.” We were never actually left behind in a strange city, but we weren't abut t take any chances.
On the furth r fifth night, we had truble finding a htel with a vacancy (空房間). After driving in vain fr sme time, Mum suddenly gt a great idea: Why didn't we find a huse with a likely-lking backyard and asked if we culd set up tent there? David and I became nervus.[懸念3] T ur great relief, Dad turned dwn the idea. Mum never culd understand ur bjectins (反對). If a strange family shwed up n her frnt drstep, Mum wuld have been delighted. She thinks everyne in the wrld is as nice as she is. We finally fund a vacancy in the next twn.

懸念2思考：為什么作者說他們勇敢地開車離開？
懸念3思考：作者和大衛(wèi)為什么緊張？
三、分析段落開頭語
段首句1思考：
①他們帶帳篷了嗎？
②媽媽是健忘的，途中會不會有什么麻煩？
③假如爸爸不在場，孩子們會怎樣？

We didn't meet Dad in the last few days, but we felt cmfrtable staying with Mum.
We drve thrugh several states and saw lts f sights alng the way. The tent became a clse friend then. Every time we camped, Mum wuld read a bk r sing a sft sng. The warmth f her arms never faded away in my memry. Thugh she was frgetful, laughter accmpanied us alng the way. We finally met pr Dad in ur destinatin. This trip made me realise that lve may have many ways, but it can always warm peple in the dark.
