’s 所有格表示有生命的人或動(dòng)物的名詞所有格, 單數(shù)名詞和不以 s 結(jié)尾的復(fù)數(shù)名詞一般在詞尾加“ ’s”。如: Kate’s cat 凱特的貓 Children’s Day 兒童節(jié)
1.名詞的所有格表示所屬關(guān)系，即表示某物是“誰(shuí)的”。名詞所有格常見的結(jié)構(gòu)有兩種：

(2) 名詞后加“ ’s” 表示所有, 意為“……的”。如: This is Tm’s bk. 這是湯姆的書。以s結(jié)尾的復(fù)數(shù)名詞只在詞尾加“ ’ ”。如：the students’ bk 學(xué)生用書 the bys’ bks 男孩們的書
(3) 如果表示兩(幾)個(gè)人共同擁有，在最后一個(gè)名詞的詞尾加“’s”：如: Eric and Cindy’s father 艾瑞克和辛迪的父親(兩個(gè)人的父親是同一個(gè)人)(4)如果表示兩(幾)個(gè)人各自擁有, 則須在每個(gè)名詞后都加上“’s”：Jane’s and Helen’s rms 珍的房間和海倫的房間(兩人各自擁有一個(gè)房間)
f 所有格 1.無(wú)生命事物名詞的所屬關(guān)系，一般常用 “ f ＋名詞”來(lái)表示，即 f 所有格。如： a pht f my family 一張全家福 the name f the tree 這棵樹的名字 2. f 所有格與 ’s 所有格有時(shí)可以互換，不過(guò)要注意它們物主的位置不同。如：狗的名字是甜甜。The name f the dg is Tiantian． (f 結(jié)構(gòu), 物主the dg在后) The dg’s name is Tiantian． (’s 結(jié)構(gòu), 物主the dg在前)
2. —Hw ld are yu? 你多大了？ —I’m fifteen. 我十五了。hw ld意為“多大年紀(jì)；幾歲”，常用于詢問(wèn)年齡。回答時(shí)可以直接用基數(shù)詞表示，也可以用“基數(shù)詞 + year (s) ld”表示。What’s ... age?”和“Hw ld is / are ”意思相同，可互換。如：What’s yur age? = Hw ld are yu? 你多大了？
