Unit 1  Friend sReading設(shè)計說明先設(shè)計問題引出“朋友”的話題，既復(fù)習(xí)了前一課時的內(nèi)容，又為接下來的學(xué)習(xí)做了鋪墊；通過聽讀訓(xùn)練，結(jié)合書后練習(xí)讓學(xué)生們對文章內(nèi)容大體了解；之后通過精讀、知識點(diǎn)講解讓學(xué)生提取文章細(xì)節(jié)并對文章中重點(diǎn)短語和句型進(jìn)行記憶和理解；最后讓學(xué)生通過對朋友的描述，引發(fā)學(xué)生對朋友的進(jìn)一步認(rèn)識及對友誼的思考。教學(xué)目標(biāo)通過本單元的教學(xué)，讓學(xué)生達(dá)成以下目標(biāo)：1.知識目標(biāo)掌握詞匯：generous, willing, any time, voice, singer, almost, round, sense, humour, bored, fit, knock, onto, straight, sweet, smile, personality, choose。2.能力目標(biāo)(1)能夠掌握課文中介紹人外貌、性格的語句表達(dá)。 (2)能夠整體把握文章內(nèi)容并介紹自己的朋友。(3)能夠?qū)懗?/span>關(guān)于朋友簡介的短文。3.情感目標(biāo) 樹立正確的交友觀，并有意識地培養(yǎng)自己優(yōu)秀的品格。重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn)重點(diǎn)：理解文章內(nèi)容，獲取文章細(xì)節(jié)信息難點(diǎn)：簡介朋友，描述其外貌和品質(zhì)教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備PPT課件；相關(guān)圖片；Reading部分的課文錄音授課時數(shù)2課時教學(xué)過程Step 1  Lead-inAsk the students questions about their friends.T: What does your friend look like?   Ss: My friend is good-looking /pretty/ lovely /beautiful/ tall / strong / slim / fat…   T: What kind of person is your friend? /What is your friend like?   Ss: He / She is a clean and tidy/ clever/ friendly/ funny/ helpful/ polite… person.Step 2  Presentation   Ask the students to listen to the recording and find out their names.Answers: Betty  Max  May2. Ask the students to listen again and read the article to get information and learn new words and phrases.BettyAsk the students to listen to the recording and find out Betty’s looks.What does Betty look like? She is also helpful and ready to help people any time. 她愿意和朋友們分享東西，還樂于助人，在任何時候都樂意幫助人們。be willing to do sth.= be ready to do sth. 意為“愿意做某事”。Mary is always willing to help others. 瑪麗總是樂于助人。Are you willing to keep a secret for me? 你愿意為我保守秘密嗎？I am ready to chat with my friends in English.我愿意用英語跟我的朋友們聊天。3  She helps me with my homework and she always gives her seat on the bus  to someone in need.她幫助我完成作業(yè)，在公共汽車上她總是把座位讓給需要的人。(1) help sb. with sth.意為“幫助某人某事”help sb. (to) do sth.意為“幫助某人做某事”Bob often helps me with my Chinese.=Bob often helps me (to) learn Chinese.鮑勃經(jīng)常幫助我學(xué)語文。(2) give one’s seat to sb. 意為“把座位讓給某人”It is polite for us to give our seats to the old in need. 對于我們來說把座位讓給需要的老人是有禮貌的。MaxAsk the students to listen to the recording and find out Max’s looks.  What does Max look like?Answer: He is tall and wears small round glasses.Ask the students to read the entry and find out Max’s personality.  (1)What kind of person is he? (2)What happens when he walks past the desks?Answers:   (1)He has a good sense of humour.(2)When he walks past the desks, he often knocks his classmates’ books and pens onto the floor.3.Language points1  Max has a good sense of humour. 麥克斯很有幽默感。a sense of humour 幽默感    humour名詞，意為“幽默” 。  humorous 形容詞，意為“幽默的”。Stephen has a good sense of humour.                                           = Stephen is very humorous. 斯蒂芬有很強(qiáng)的幽默感 。2  I never feel bored with him.和他在一起我從不覺得無聊。bored 形容詞，意為“無聊的”，常指人的感受。boring 形容詞，意為“令人乏味的”，常修飾事物或說明事物的特征。The boring meeting made everyone feel very bored. 乏味的會議使大家都感到很無聊。3  When he walks past our desks, he often knocks our books and pens onto the floor. 當(dāng)他走過我們的課桌時，他經(jīng)常把我們的書和鋼筆碰到地上。knock動詞，意為“碰，撞”。knock…onto the floor意為“把……碰掉到地上”Max knocked my glass onto the floor. 麥克斯把我的玻璃杯碰到地板上了。MayAsk the students to listen to the recording and find out May’s looks.  What does May look like? Answer: She is short. She has big bright eyes and long straight hair. Everyone thinks she is pretty.Ask the students to read the entry and find out May’s personality.  What kind of person is she?  Answer: She is sweet. She smiles often and never says a bad word about anyone. She is a true friend. 3. Language points.1  She smiles often and never says a bad word about anyone.她經(jīng)常微笑，且從不說任何人的壞話。(1) smile 動詞，意為“微笑”。He smiles when he meets me. 他見到我時笑了笑。【拓展】smile還可用作名詞，意為“微笑”。He looked at me with a smile.他面帶微笑地看了看我。(2) say a bad word about sb. =say bad words about sb.意為“說某人的壞話”。It is not kind to say bad words about others. 說別人的壞話是不友善的。2  When something worries me, I can always go to her. 當(dāng)有使我煩惱的事時，我總會去找她。worry用作動詞，意為“使擔(dān)心，使煩惱”。worry about意為“為……擔(dān)心”，與be worried about 同義。Don’t worry.
