句型“主語+am/is/are (nt)+表示外貌特征的形容詞(+nw).”用于描述某人現(xiàn)在的外貌特征，時態(tài)用一般現(xiàn)在時。be動詞隨著主語人稱和數(shù)的變化而變化。nw為表示現(xiàn)在的時間狀語，也可以放在句首。例：My brther is tall and strng.我的哥哥又高又壯。I am very thin. But my father is fat.我很瘦。但是我的爸爸胖。
