UNIT-8 Green LivingLesson-4 Review教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)教材分析 本節(jié)課是高中英語(yǔ)第三冊(cè)Unit 8 Green Living的第四課,課型是復(fù)習(xí)課,包括了寫作、閱讀和口語(yǔ)表達(dá),寫作課主要任務(wù)是寫一篇調(diào)查報(bào)告。閱讀課有兩篇文章,一篇主要向?qū)W生們介紹了垃圾回收的好處;另一篇主要向?qū)W生介紹了全球環(huán)境變化以及暴露出的問題??谡Z(yǔ)表達(dá)在主要是運(yùn)用本單元所學(xué)詞匯、語(yǔ)法表達(dá)出對(duì)環(huán)保的理解。通過本節(jié)課的學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生將在英語(yǔ)聽、說(shuō)、讀、寫綜合方面的能力得到提高。教學(xué)目標(biāo)與核心素養(yǎng)語(yǔ)言技能目標(biāo)1學(xué)生能夠借助關(guān)鍵詞,在理解文章大意的基礎(chǔ)上,找出段落主題句,完成讀前問題;2用所學(xué)的詞匯和語(yǔ)言的對(duì)課文進(jìn)行復(fù)述;3學(xué)生能夠借助已知的關(guān)鍵信息,適當(dāng)補(bǔ)充輔助信息,寫出內(nèi)容整的調(diào)查報(bào)告。語(yǔ)言知識(shí)目標(biāo)1能夠正確收集完成摘要的內(nèi)容提綱;2能正確認(rèn)知并且運(yùn)用以下詞匯和短語(yǔ):when it comes to..., household, landfill, power plant, scrap, dispose, tackle, set an example for..., fossil, vehicle, annually, carbon dioxide, pollutant, atmosphere, predict, capacity, exponentially, for instance, alternative, advocate等。文化意識(shí)目標(biāo)1了解如何正確認(rèn)識(shí)和理解廢物回收利用;2正確認(rèn)知全球環(huán)境問題。情感態(tài)度目標(biāo)意識(shí)到垃圾分類的必要性以及如何在日常生活中付出行動(dòng);了解當(dāng)今世界面臨的嚴(yán)峻的環(huán)境問題,切身從自身開始認(rèn)真對(duì)待環(huán)境問題。積極參與各種英語(yǔ)活動(dòng),克服困難,在新環(huán)境中進(jìn)一步樹立準(zhǔn)確的語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)觀。教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)重點(diǎn)1)如何使用地道、恰當(dāng)?shù)恼Z(yǔ)言書寫調(diào)查報(bào)告;2)正確理解并運(yùn)用動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)、一詞多譯進(jìn)行恰當(dāng)表達(dá);3)禮貌進(jìn)行日常對(duì)話。2. 難點(diǎn)1)能用得體的英語(yǔ)書寫調(diào)查報(bào)告;2)能正確、恰當(dāng)?shù)厥褂脛?dòng)詞短語(yǔ)、一詞多譯、非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞等。教學(xué)過程寫作課:教學(xué)步驟教學(xué)活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì)意圖時(shí)間Step-1 Warming Up for WritingThe teacher will give a situation, saying that students will write a survey report.1. You are going to write a survey report on environmental protection for the residents in your city or town. What should be included in a survey report? Discuss your ideas in pairs.任務(wù)型活動(dòng):課題引入采取代入情景的方式,使學(xué)生能更好地融入到寫作情景中。鍛煉學(xué)生材料收集、整理能力,同時(shí)也激發(fā)同學(xué)們熱情和參與課堂的積極性。3分鐘Step-2 Lead-inThis step is to lead the students to learn how to write a formal email.Read the survey report on Page 40 in your textbook and think the following questions.1)  What questions are asked?2)  What are the findings?緊扣上一環(huán)節(jié)的討論,通過閱讀一篇摘要范文,通過回答幾個(gè)問題以引導(dǎo)學(xué)生模仿文章書寫結(jié)構(gòu)、語(yǔ)言和上下文間的邏輯銜接,以激發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣,導(dǎo)入寫作課意圖。5分鐘Step-3 Pre-writingThis step is to focus on text structure and language that will be used in the survey report. Label each paragraph of the report with the following headings.Underline the quantity expressions in the survey report. Use the Sentence Builder to help you.該教學(xué)過程主要是幫助學(xué)生梳理需要表達(dá)的要點(diǎn),再根據(jù)要點(diǎn)進(jìn)行寫作。 7分鐘Step-4 While-writingThis step is to instruct students to compose their writing.Write an outline for your report based on Activities 3 and 4, and the data below. You can also do a survey online and write a report based on the data you got.Use your outline and the Writing Help to write your first draft.該教學(xué)過程主要幫助學(xué)生構(gòu)思寫作大綱,以完成寫作目的。20分鐘Step-5 Post-writingWhen the students finish the email, edit it in pairs. Choose the passage that most students are interested in to introduce and the other passage will be left for after-class reading.任務(wù)型活動(dòng):課題引入采取圖片導(dǎo)入,激發(fā)學(xué)生積極性和主動(dòng)思考的能力。并按照大部分學(xué)生感興趣的話題進(jìn)行教學(xué)。如課堂時(shí)間有限,余下的文章可作為課后練習(xí)。3分鐘Step-2 Lead-in(1)  If the topic is Recycling:Teacher will let students say something about recycling they know.(2) If the topic is The Environment-A Local and Global Issue:Teacher will ask students if they know something about the environment issues.緊扣上一環(huán)節(jié)的討論,教師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生從不同方面對(duì)文本進(jìn)行思考,有助于發(fā)散思維訓(xùn)練以及更好進(jìn)行文本閱讀。5分鐘Step-3 Pre-reading(1)  If the topic is Recycling:Teacher will show pictures about some effective solution of recycling and ask students if they know the functions of recycling.(2) If the topic is The Environment-A Local and Global Issue:Teacher will show a picture about global environmental issues on the screen and let students say something about their feelings and thoughts.該教學(xué)過程主要是幫助學(xué)生更好地了解文章內(nèi)容。通過文章相關(guān)配圖,能夠大致了解文章所講述的內(nèi)容,有助于學(xué)生把握文章大意和部分細(xì)節(jié)。7分鐘Step-4 While-reading(1)  If the topic is Recycling:Read the text and answer the following questions: What are the differences between the waste management in Sweden and that of some countries in Africa?(2)  If the topic is The Environment-A Local and Global Issue: What are the causes and effects of air pollution? What is global warming and how does it affect our planet? What are landfills and why are they becoming a serious problem? What are the possible solutions to these environmental problems?該教學(xué)過程主要是幫助學(xué)生對(duì)文章進(jìn)行深度剖析,通過幾個(gè)細(xì)節(jié)問題,讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)如何提取、整理有效信息,并建立起文章的整體構(gòu)架。20分鐘Step-5 Post-reading(1)  If the topic Recycling: What does the writer mean by saying “Where most people see a problem, a few clever individuals have seen opportunities”? What do other countries do on waste management? Do you think Sweden’s method can be applied to your city or town?(2)  If the topic is he Environment-A Local and Global Issue: What do you think of the fourth R-Responsibility? Do you think it’s more important than the other three Rs(Reduce, Reuse and Recycle)? Why?該教學(xué)過程主要是讓學(xué)生讀完文章后,能夠結(jié)合實(shí)際情況或自身情況對(duì)文章進(jìn)行的更層次的思考,從而幫助學(xué)生更好理解文本內(nèi)容和語(yǔ)言、文化差異。5分鐘Step-6 HomeworkRead the other passage left and do the exercise in the textbook.Use what you have learnt in Unit-8 and talk about environmental protection with proper phrases and description, and then write down them.該過程主要幫助學(xué)生總結(jié)和運(yùn)用本單元所有,使學(xué)生更好地將理論與實(shí)踐結(jié)合。5分鐘
