表示數(shù)目的詞稱為基數(shù)詞(Cardinal numbers)。其形式如下:
1-12, 獨(dú)立成詞。ne tw three fur five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve
20-90, 以-ty結(jié)尾。20—twenty 30-thirty 40—frty 50—fifty 80—eighty 60—sixty 70—seventy 90—ninety
13-19, 由3-9 + teen構(gòu)成。14–furteen 16-sixteen 17-seventeen 19—nineteen 特殊拼寫(xiě): 13— thirteen 15—fifteen 18—eighteen
21-99, 兩位數(shù),十位與個(gè)位之間有 “-”。twenty-ne 55 fifty-five 99 ninety-nine
101—999,三位數(shù),百位與十位/個(gè)位之間加and。101 ne hundred and ne840 eight hundred and frty693 six hundred and ninety-three
英語(yǔ)數(shù)詞不難記,找出規(guī)則就容易。 零至十二形各異,一個(gè)一個(gè)單獨(dú)記。 后面加teen變十幾,thirteen, fifteen看仔細(xì)。 eighteen只有一個(gè)t,兩個(gè)音節(jié)念清晰。 表示“幾十”要加-ty, twenty, thirty 是特例。表示數(shù)字“幾十幾”,連字符號(hào)別忘記。

“基數(shù)詞+名詞” 的合成形容詞作定語(yǔ),中間有連字符“-”,當(dāng)中的名詞用單數(shù)。

基數(shù)詞

1-3, first, secnd, third 。4-19, 相應(yīng)基數(shù)詞+ th, 特殊拼寫(xiě):fifth, eighth, ninth, twelfth。 20-90, y變成ie +th,如twentieth。 21-99, 只把個(gè)位的基數(shù)詞變成序數(shù)詞 如twenty-first。 序數(shù)詞縮寫(xiě):數(shù)字+最后兩字母 如1st, 2nd, 3rd ,4th…
基變序,有規(guī)律,一、二、三,特殊記,面目全非要注意,加th從4起,八少“t”,九去“e”,“ve”要用“f”替,(five, twelve)見(jiàn)“y”變成“i”和“e”,詞尾加上“th”,(twenty, thirty,……ninety)若是遇到幾十幾,只變個(gè)位就可以。序數(shù)詞縮寫(xiě)記清楚,數(shù)字后跟兩字母。
