重點語法 (非限制性定語從句)
一. 概念
非限制性定語從句只是對主句內(nèi)容或先行詞的補充、解釋或附加說明。沒有它,主句也能獨立存在;非限制性定語從句和主句的關(guān)系不密切,它與先行詞之間常用逗號隔開。需注意的是,that不能引導(dǎo)非限制性定語從句。
二、關(guān)系代詞引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語從句
1.which指物,在定語從句中作主語或賓語。

2.wh指人,在定語從句中作主語或賓語。
Our English teacher, wh is nw 45 years ld, has been teaching us English since she graduated frm cllege.我們的英語老師今年45歲了,自從大學(xué)畢業(yè)以來,她就一直教我們英語。
3. whm指人,在定語從句中作賓語,一般不能省略。
Ninety students frm twenty classes participated in the race, amng whm thirty were girls.來自20個班的90名學(xué)生參加了比賽,其中30名是女生。
4.whse既可指人,也可指物,在定語從句中作定語,先行詞是人時,whse+n.相當(dāng)于the+n.+f whm。先行詞是物時,whse+n.相當(dāng)于the+n.+f which。

as/which引導(dǎo)非限制性定語從句時的區(qū)別
as和which引導(dǎo)非限制性定語從句時還有以下方面的不同:
(1)在從句中作定語時,要用which,不用as。
Jenny might cme, in which case I’ll ask her. 詹妮可能會來,要是那樣的話我就去問她。
(2)當(dāng)從句的謂語動詞是否定形式或含著一個復(fù)合賓語時,一般用which而不用as。
He pretended nt t knw me, which I didn’t understand.
他假裝不認識我,這是我搞不明白的。
He admires everyne in his class, which I find quite strange.
他羨慕他班里的每個學(xué)生,我認為這太奇怪了。
(3)as引導(dǎo)非限制性定語從句的最大特點是位置靈活;其次,as有以下常見的,而which不具備的“固定表達”:

(4)在非限制性定語從句中,which后的be動詞不可省;而as后的be動詞可以省略:

(5)如果主句中敘述的事情與從句所涉及的意向一致,多用as,用以對主句的意義進行補充;如果不一致,就用which:

三、關(guān)系副詞引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語從句
當(dāng)先行詞指時間或地點,且在定語從句中作狀語時,用when,where引導(dǎo)非限制性定語從句,why不引導(dǎo)非限制性定語從句,但可用fr which代替。

四、“介詞+關(guān)系代詞”引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語從句
在“介詞+關(guān)系代詞”引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語從句中,whm指人,which指物。

五、限制性定語從句與非限制性定語從句的區(qū)別
1.引導(dǎo)詞不同:關(guān)系代詞that,關(guān)系副詞why均不可以引導(dǎo)非限制性定語從句。
2.非限制性定語從句與主句關(guān)系不很密切,中間用逗號隔開,譯成漢語時,通常譯成兩句話;而限制性定語從句常與主句一起譯成一句話。

He has a sn wh is a dctr.他有一個當(dāng)醫(yī)生的兒子。
3.非限制性定語從句的引導(dǎo)詞無論在從句中作什么成分,均不可省略;而在限制性定語從句中,作賓語的關(guān)系代詞可省略。

4.在限制性定語從句中,指人時,作賓語的whm可以用wh或that代替,但在非限制性定語從句中不可以代替。
