Unfrtunately, ver-expsure t the radiactive elements made her develp a disease and die in 1934. Marie Curie wn the Nbel Prize in tw different fields. Because f her pineering wrk which led t chemtherapy (化學(xué)療法), the charity decided n the name f Marie Curie.
The daffdil is ne f the first plants t flwer during spring in the UK, which marks the return f flwering plants t the ecsystem after winter. Because f this, the charity uses the daffdil as a metaphr (比喻) fr bringing rebirth thrugh charitable giving.

Accrding t Staub, it is smetimes just a matter f turning t the persn next t yu and saying, “It lks like we shuld d smething.” Once yu take actin, mst peple will fllw yu and als help.
32. Accrding t Ervin Staub, when accidents happen, peple’s first thughts ________.
A. frce them t give a handB. depend n thers’ reactin

34. What shuld yu prbably act if yu bserve truble accrding t the last paragraph?
A. Call the ambulance as sn as yu can.
B. Evaluate the situatin and take actin alne.
C. Stp and try t invlve ther peple t help tgether.
D. Turn t thers and ask them t take n the whle respnsibility.
35. What can be the best title fr the text?

The biggest thing that mst kids ften ignre is their diet符合本段內(nèi)容。故選C。
Surrunding yurself with quality teammates and cmpetitrs is the best way t get better符合題意。故選G。

56. built 57. largest 58. t attract 59. curisity 60. which 61. the 62. but 63. safely
64. driving 65. will be flded
62. “abve the surface (在水面上)”與“under the water (在水下)”是相反的位置,因此需要使用轉(zhuǎn)折連詞but。
