Gd afternn, everyne. My name is Maria. I’m frm Peru. I’m s glad t be invited here t share my stry tday. As a newcmer t the United States in 2017, I quickly realized that I needed mre educatin t live a better life in this cuntry. My English was nt gd enugh t take cllege-level curses, s I went t Cmmunity Cllege in the spring f 2019. I tk sme ESL curses there. Then I decided t cntinue wrking tward a degree. Despite wrking a full-time jb and caring fr my family, I am finally clse t cmpleting my English degree. Once I cmplete my studies at Cmmunity Cllege, I plan t g t Metrplitan State University f Denver t get a degree in business and ecnmics. I am prud t be a student at Cmmunity Cllege.
