Tw fields were grwn using traditinal farming methds. The thers were grwn using rganic farming methds. The crps and sil use were similar in all the fields studied.
The study fund that the rganic fields prduced abut 20% fewer crps than the ther fields. Hwever, the farmers used less fertilizer and energy n the rganic fields. They fund the rganic fields were healthier.
The scientists say the rganic fields had mre nutrients in the sil. The sils in the rganic fields als had mre bilgical activity than the ther fields. The rganic fields had mre helpful rganisms and a larger number f different rganisms. The rganic fields had almst tw times as many insects, including helpful insects. In traditinal farming, chemicals designed t kill harmful insects als kill helpful nes.
