知識點梳理
1. talented in music. (P. 20)
talented作形容詞,表示“有才能的、有天賦的”,be talented in表示“在……方面有天賦”。

care abut意為“關(guān)心、在意”。

(1)本句結(jié)構(gòu)為“It’s+adj.+fr sb.+t d sth.”結(jié)構(gòu),意為“做某事對某人來說……”,此結(jié)構(gòu)中的形容詞多為描述事物特征的詞,如easy, imprtant, dangerus, necessary等。

【拓展】It’s+adj.+f sb.+t d sth.意為“某人做某事是……的”,此結(jié)構(gòu)中的形容詞多是kind, nice, right, wrng, clever, flish,plite等描述行為者性格、品質(zhì)的詞。

(2)make friends表示“交朋友”,后常接介詞with,表示“和某人交朋友”。

ther, the ther, anther, thers和the thers辨析
ther: 意為“別的、其它的”,常用來修飾可數(shù)名詞。
the ther: 表示“兩者中另一個”,是特指;the ther之后也可以加復(fù)數(shù)名詞,特指“其它的”。
anther: 表示“三者及以上中另一個”。
thers: 用作代詞,泛指“其他的人或物”,是復(fù)數(shù)概念。
the thers: 特指在一個整體中的“其余的人或物(全部)”。

形容詞和副詞的比較級
一、定義
比較級用于兩者(人或事物)的比較,表示其中一個比另一個"更……"或"較……",后面用連詞than 連接另一個所比較的人或事物。
二、用法
1. 表示兩個人或事物作比較時,形容詞要用比較級形式,形容詞比較級之后常用than引出比較的對象。
This pen is lnger than that ne. 這支鋼筆比那支長。
New Yrk is bigger than Cambridge. 紐約比劍橋大。
2. 表示兩者之間的選擇,意為"哪一個更……"。
Wh is taller, Lily r Lucy? 莉莉和露西相比,誰更高?

三、形容詞比較級前的修飾詞
比較級前可以用much、a little、a lt、even、rather、still、any、a bit、far等詞修飾,起強(qiáng)調(diào)作用,不可用very、s、quite、t(只能修飾原級)等修飾。

相信我,你看起來真的比以前好多了。
He is a lt taller than me. 他比我高很多。
They went there a little later than thers.
他們比其他人稍微去晚一點兒。
It’s even bigger than an island. 它甚至比一座島嶼都大。
He is far strnger than his brther. 他比他哥哥強(qiáng)壯得多。
四、形容詞、副詞比較級的用法
1. 最基本句型"主語 + be(is/am/are) + 形容詞比較級 + than + 比較對象"。than后接人稱代詞時可以是主格或賓格。than前后的比較對象必須是同一范疇,即同類事物之間的比較。
She is a little mre utging than me.
她比我性格外向一點。
2. 比較級前可以用much、a little、a lt、even、rather、still、any、a bit、far等詞修飾,起強(qiáng)調(diào)作用,不可用very、s、quite、t(只能修飾原級)等修飾。
It’s cld tday, but it is ging t be even clder tmrrw.
今天很冷,但明天會更冷。
3. 在含有r的選擇疑問句中,如果有兩者供選擇,前面的形容詞要用比較級形式。
Wh d yu think is mre beautiful, Lucy r Lily?
你認(rèn)為誰更漂亮,露茜還是莉莉?
4. 當(dāng)兩者比較只出現(xiàn)一方,含有f the tw/f the twins結(jié)構(gòu)時,比較級前要加the,意為"兩個中比較……的一個"。
He is the taller f the tw bys. 他是兩個男孩中個子較高的一個。
5. "get/becme + 形容詞比較級 + and + 形容詞比較級"是"變得越來越……"的意思,and連接同一個形容詞的比較級。當(dāng)表示"越來越……"時,形容詞為多音節(jié)詞或一些雙音節(jié)詞,用"mre and mre+原級"結(jié)構(gòu)。
It gets warmer and warmer when spring cmes.
春天來了,天氣變得越來越暖和了。
6. "the + 形容詞比較級…, the + 形容詞比較級…"意為"越……就越……"。兩個"比較級"不要求一定詞性相同,它們各自的詞性要依句子的需要而定。
The harder yu wrk at yur study, the better grades yu will have.
你學(xué)習(xí)越努力,你的成績就越好。
7. 表示"比……大(長、多、寬……)幾倍",用"…times + 形容詞比較級 + than…"結(jié)構(gòu)。
Our classrm is twice larger than yurs.
我們的教室比你們的大兩倍。
8. 表示"重幾斤"、"高幾厘米"、"大幾歲"等,可用"表示數(shù)量的詞 + 形容詞比較級 + than…"。
Tm is six years lder than yu. 湯姆比你大六歲。
9. 當(dāng)表達(dá)"……之一"、"第幾大/小/高/矮……"時,往往用最高級,而不用比較級。
The Yellw River is the secnd lngest river in China.
黃河是中國第二長河。
10. "形容詞比較級 + than any ther + 單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞"表示"……比其他的任何……都……",此句型可以換成最高級。
Li Lei is cleverer than any ther student in the class.
=Li Lei is the cleverest student in the class.
李磊是班上最聰明的學(xué)生。
11. "mre+形容詞"與"less +形容詞"及nt s(as)…as的互換。要注意前后比較對象要倒換位置。
Chinese is mre imprtant than English.
=English is less imprtant than Chinese.
=English is nt s imprtant as Chinese. 漢語比英語重要。

兩者之間做比較,尾巴-er少不了;
一般詞尾加-er,有e詞尾只加-r;

雙多音節(jié)字太長,前加mre比它強(qiáng)。

【易錯警示】
1. farther/farthest和further/furthest的區(qū)別:二者表示距離時,往往可互換,但是用于引申義,表示程度時,只能使用后者。

2. lder/ldest和elder/eldest的區(qū)別:前者用于人或者物,可作定語和表語,可與than連用,而后者主要用于家人之間,表明長幼關(guān)系,往往用于人,不用于物,而且只作定語不作表語,也不與than連用。

合二為一共三對,壞病兩多和兩好;
