本單元的語法項目聚焦復(fù)雜句句法的分析與運用。長句的學(xué)習(xí)可以分為三個層次:感知一理解一運用,即在感知的基礎(chǔ)上,能夠利用有關(guān)句法知識分析和理解句子成分和句子意義,再運用到語篇寫作中,結(jié)合語篇特點綜合運用句法知識,寫出符合文體要求、語義流暢、句子連貫的語篇。由一個主句和一個或一個以上從句合成的句子叫作復(fù)合句(cmplex sentence) ;由并列連詞或其他并列手段連接兩個或兩個以上的簡單句而成的句子叫作并列句(cmpund sentence) ;如果并列句中的兩個分句又含有從句的話, 那就成為更加復(fù)雜的并列復(fù)合句(cmpund-cmplex sentence) 。值得提醒學(xué)生注意的是, 有的句子雖然含有從句, 但語言簡潔, 句子簡短, 不會造成理解障礙, 如“What he said is true.”。本單元主要從復(fù)合句、并列句、并列復(fù)合句出發(fā), 幫助學(xué)生理解復(fù)雜句的句法,在掌握句法結(jié)構(gòu)的基礎(chǔ)上,理解句子的語義邏輯和語篇功能?;顒釉O(shè)計:活動1主要聚焦學(xué)生對三種復(fù)雜句句法結(jié)構(gòu)的辨認(rèn),從閱讀語篇中找出這些句子,理解其句法結(jié)構(gòu),感知其語義邏輯和語篇功能?;顒?提供了五組與職業(yè)話題有關(guān)的句子,需要學(xué)生運用句法知識,將“短句”轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)椤伴L句”。活動3提供了一些打亂順序的句子,學(xué)生需要補全這些句子,并且重新排列句子順序,使其成為一篇語義流暢的短文,然后理解短文中對如何做好職業(yè)規(guī)劃提出的建議。最后一個開放性的活動4要求學(xué)生用句法知識組織語言,將零散信息組織為成段的語言后輸出;要求學(xué)生能夠結(jié)合語境運用較長的句子,并且確保句子語義流暢、自然連貫。活動中的材料介紹了卡爾·馬克思和鐘揚的有關(guān)信息。這兩位人物都屬于身體力行,踐行自己為人類服務(wù)的理想,并且為人類文明和社會進步作出了巨大貢獻(xiàn)的典范。這樣的選材也能激勵學(xué)生,希望他們在未來職業(yè)的選擇中,能夠考慮人類社會進步和發(fā)展的需要,具有更博大的胸懷、更長遠(yuǎn)的眼光;能夠找到自己理想職業(yè)的榜樣,理解并繼承這些偉大人物對事業(yè)矢志不渝地奮斗和追求的精神。
