Write these words and numbers on the blackboardAsk them to read these words and give them more examples.Write some numbers on the blackboard and ask the students to read them in English.Ask the students to read the cardinal numbers and finish B1 by themselves. Ask the students to listen to the teacher, and write down the numbers: 5987493.Tell the students your telephone number in English, and see whether they can write it down in numbers. Ask the students to write down their telephone numbers and try to remember them and say them in English. Go to B2. The students read it and write down the words by themselves.To B3. Ask the students to finish it in pairs. Read these numbers to each other.Group work. Ask the students to draw a check and write down the numbers on the check. Then, they should read the numbers to their partners. Their partners should write down the numbers. Revise the ordinal numbers by talking about dates and birthdays. Write down some words on the blackboard. (first, second, third, fifth, eighth, ninth, twelfth, fifteenth, twentieth, twenty-fourth)Ask the students to read these words and try to find out the rules.C1, the students write the numbers out in words.Talk about Neil’s visit to Beijing with the class. Ask questions: What do Neil and Simon want to do on February, 20th? When do they go to the Summer Palace? Ask them to complete the dialogue. Read the dialogue after the teacher and then read it to each other. Go to C3, talk about the score and then write it out in words.Check the answers to the exercises學(xué)習(xí)研討:1序數(shù)詞 “第一,第二,第三”是特殊:first, second, third從第四開(kāi)始有規(guī)律,大多數(shù)直接在基數(shù)詞后加th“第幾十”請(qǐng)注意,變yie再加th。序數(shù)詞在句中作定語(yǔ)是時(shí)一般與定冠詞the連用。如:My teacher is always the first one to get to school.我的老師總是第一個(gè)到校。Our team won the first prize in the football match. 我們隊(duì)在這次足球比賽中贏得了第一。序數(shù)詞前有形容詞性物主代詞作定語(yǔ)時(shí),省去the。 This is my second time to watch the lion dance.這是我第二次看舞獅。2I’ll arrive in Beijing on Sunday.我將于周日到達(dá)北京。arrive 為不及物動(dòng)詞,意為“到達(dá)”若與 in 連用,后面接大地點(diǎn),若與at 連用后面接小地點(diǎn)??膳cget toreach互換。如:I usually arrive at school at seven o’clock.我通常7點(diǎn)到學(xué)校。3I can’t wait to see you .我迫不及待要見(jiàn)你。Can’t wait to do sth意為迫不及待地做某事On the morning of Chinese new year , we can’t wait to put on the new clothes.春節(jié)的早上,我們迫不及待要穿上新衣服。4That sounds great, Simon.聽(tīng)起來(lái)很棒,西蒙。Sound為連系動(dòng)詞,后接形容詞作表語(yǔ)意為“聽(tīng)起來(lái)”類(lèi)似的詞還有taste , look, feel, smell等。5Where else are we going?where else=what other placeselse 常放在what , who, where等疑問(wèn)詞及與 –body, -one, -place, -thing結(jié)合而成的不定代詞后1Review the contents of this lesson.2Do the examples of the workbook.
