Key vocabulary:meeting, video, organize, chocolate...potato chips, have a class meeting, half the class, a good time to have the party, order... from...2. Key sentences:  a. What will happen if they have the party tomorrow?b. Half the class wont come.c. When is a good time to have the party?d. Lets order food from a restaurant. 教學(xué)難點(diǎn):The usage of first conditional.教學(xué)過程(表格描述)教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)主要教學(xué)活動(dòng)設(shè)置意圖Step 1Review(PPT 3-4)1. Review the usage of if- clause by doing exercises.2. Make Ss read the sentences.通過做題復(fù)習(xí)一課時(shí)所學(xué)的if條件從句的用法。Step 2 Presentation(PPT 5- 7)1. Show some pictures to Ss to learn the new words and read them. 2. Lead in 2a. 通過圖片學(xué)習(xí)本課時(shí)的生詞,為2a的聽力做鋪墊和材料支持。Step 3Listening(PPT 8-11)1. Work on 2a. Read the instructions. Make sure Ss know what to do.Play the tape for Ss to listen and circle the correct answers to complete the sentences. Correct the answers.2. Work on 2b. Ask Ss to read the phrases in the box. Play the tape for Ss to listen again, then choose the correct short answer to answer each question. Ss write answer on their own,then call some Ss to read their answers. Check answers.3. Practice the conversation. Retell the conversationusing the information in 2b.Then read the short passage.播放聽力一遍后,完成2a。利用這些對(duì)話,談?wù)撆e辦宴會(huì)的事情。聽過第2遍以后完成2b。通過復(fù)述短文的方式來練習(xí)這個(gè)對(duì)話信息。Step 4Practice(PPT 12-13)Work on 2c. 1. Ask two Ss to read the sample dialogue.2. Make Ss work in pairs to role-play the conversations between Nelly and Mark.A: OK, when is a good time to have the party?B: Let’s have it today.A: Hmm. If we have it today, half the class won’t come.3. Ask a few pairs of Ss to practice their conversations for the class.分角色表演,練習(xí)2b聽力的內(nèi)容。Step 5Role-play(PPT 14-16)Work on 2d. 1. Make Ss read the conversation in 2d.2. Lead Ss to practice reading the conversation.3. Pair-work. Ss work in pairs to role-play the conversation. In this part, student A will be Jeff. Student B will be Ben. As they talk, move around to monitor their work. Offer language or pronunciation support as needed. 4. Ask some pairs to present the conversation to the class.5. Ask Ss to answer the questions according to the conversation. 分角色表演對(duì)話,感受每個(gè)角色對(duì)話的內(nèi)容和情感。通過回答問題深入理解對(duì)話內(nèi)容。Step 6Pairwork(PPT 17)Role-play the conversation.A:Hey, Ben. Explain thewords: meeting, organize.2.Explain the other usages ofif-clause.講解本課時(shí)重點(diǎn)單詞以及if條件從句的用法。Step 8Summary(PPT 24)Ask Ss to summarize the usage of if-clause. 要求學(xué)生自己總結(jié)本節(jié)課所學(xué)的if條件從句的用法。Step 9Exercises(PPT 25)Do some exercises to practice the usage of if- clauses. 設(shè)計(jì)詞型填空的形式練習(xí)所學(xué)的if條件從句的用法。Step 10Homework(PPT 26)1.Tell your mother your plans about a party.2.Preview the new words and expressions on page 75.3.Preview the letter from Tina to Su Mei.制定計(jì)劃是為了鞏固復(fù)習(xí)上課所學(xué)的關(guān)于宴會(huì)計(jì)劃的內(nèi)容。預(yù)習(xí)下節(jié)課的內(nèi)容,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自學(xué)能力。  板書設(shè)計(jì)Unit 10 If you go to the party, you'll have a great time!Section A (2a-2d)have a class partyhalf the classa good time to have the partyorder... from1.
