Key sentences:a. When this cartoon came out in New York on November 18, 1928, it was the first cartoon with sound and music. b. One of the main reasons is that Mickey was like a common man, but he always tried to face any danger. c. However, He was always ready to try his best. d. People went to the cinema to see thelittle manwin.  教學(xué)難點(diǎn):Enable Ss to read and write about their opinions and their likes and dislikes.教學(xué)過(guò)程(表格描述)教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)主要教學(xué)活動(dòng)設(shè)置意圖Step 1Pre-reading(PPT 3)Ask Ss to work in pairs to have a discussion.Discuss the following questions with a partner.Do you like to watch cartoons?What is your favorite cartoon?Why do you like it?Call some Ss to say something about cartoons.討論并回答這些問(wèn)題,激發(fā)學(xué)生對(duì)2b的好奇。Step 2While-reading(PPT 4-8) Make Ss read the passage in 2b and complete the time line.Ask Ss to share their answers with partners.Check answers in class. 閱讀之后填空。通過(guò)時(shí)間線使學(xué)生更好把握文章的重要信息。Step 3Post-reading(PPT 9-12)Work on 2c,2d. 1.Ask Ss to read the passage again and fill in the facts about Mickey. Before reading, remind Ss to scan the questions in the chart of 2c.2. Choose 1 or 2 Ss to give answers.3. Check answers in class.4. Make Ss read the passage again and discuss the questions with a partner.5. First student A asks the questions and student B answers them. Then exchange.6.
