(2) The one who took photos at the school dance?3. 能夠聽懂并理解對話中who引導的定語從句。4. 能夠掌握句子中單詞的連讀。5. 能夠談論一個人的比賽經歷。6. 通過攝影作品培養(yǎng)學生的審美意識和對他人的欣賞態(tài)度。二、教學重點及難點重點:1. 掌握general, standard, felling, difficulty, subject, add, recently, menu等詞匯的用法。2. 理解who引導的定語從句。3. 掌握句子中單詞的連讀。難點:who引導的定語從句和that引導的定語從句的區(qū)別。三、教學準備多媒體課件四、相關資源樂隊圖片五、教學過程Step Ⅰ Warm-upLook and say.T shows a photo of a band and talk about it with Ss. What can you see in the picture?  What are they doing?設計意圖:展示樂隊圖片并討論樂隊成員的不同職責,調動學生積極思考表達,進而引入本節(jié)課的主題。Step Ⅱ Pre-listeningActivity 1 and 2T shows a picture and asks Ss to talk about it.T asks Ss to listen to the recording of Activity 2 and complete the sentences.T: What could you get from this picture? Share your ideas with your partners. And then listen to the recording and complete the sentences.設計意圖:通過簡單的聽力問答等活動,鞏固所學詞匯,熟悉相關話題, 為單元主體活動做鋪墊。Step ⅡI While-listeningActivity 31. T asks Ss to listen to the conversation and answer the following questions.What are they talking about?Who’s He Zhong?2. T asks Ss to listen again and answer these questions in Activity 3.3. T shows the right answers.Step IV Post-listeningLanguage points 1. You bet! I want to beat He Zhong this year!You bet! 意思是你放心,當然,一定。通常用于口語,不用在書面語。2. He’s the boy who won the photo competition last year!這句話是由who引導的定語從句,先行詞是the boy,關系代詞who在從屬分句中做主語。thatwho都能引導定語從句,但兩者有不同。that引導的定語從句,先行詞可以是人也可以是物;who引導的定語從句先行詞只能是人。例子:(1) The boy that / who wears a T-shirt is my brother.先行詞是the boy,關系代詞既可以用that也可以用who。(2) I’m looking for the photos that you took in Australia.先行詞是the photos,關系代詞要用that。3. The thing is, he’s really good.  the thing is 意思是“問題是,原因是”,常用于口語中,不用于書面語。4. And the general standard of the competition is much higher this year. (1) general是形容詞,意思是“普遍的,修飾standard。拓展:in general意思是“通常,大體上;總的來說(2) standard是名詞,意思是“標準,水準standard用作復數standards時,可以表示:行為標準,道德水準。5. What are the subjects that they have chosen for this year’s competition?that they have chosen for this year’s competition是定語從句,先行詞是subjects,關系詞是that,關系詞在從句中做賓語。 6. I’m sure you’re in with a chance!(1) be in with a chance有可能;有機會(2) be in with a chance of doing sth.有可能做某事設計意圖:聽力活動、語言點講解、問題回答和討論環(huán)環(huán)相扣,逐步進行,幫助學生鞏固所學知識。Activity 41. T asks Ss to read these four words: add, difficulty, general and standard.2. T asks Ss to underline those four words in the dialogue.3. T asks Ss to complete Activity 4 individually, and then shows the right answers on the screen.設計意圖:讓學生獨立完成活動四,在教學過程中實時檢驗學生的聽課效果。Activity 51. T explains the pronunciation rule: liaison.2. T plays the recording and lets Ss mark the words which the speaker links.3. T asks Ss to read these sentences in Activity 5 in pairs. When Ss read those sentences, T should walk around the classroom and help Ss correct the inaccurate pronunciation.4. T plays the recording again and lets Ss repeat.設計意圖:先讓學生自己聽錄音并引導學生發(fā)現朗讀特點,然后再講解連讀這一發(fā)音規(guī)則,更容易讓學生接受新知識。Activity 61. T asks Ss to do the Activity according to these directions:S A: Choose a photo in this book and describe it to S B.S B: Listen to S A’s description of the photo. Guess which photo he/she is describing.A: There’s a basketball player who’s scoring a point.B: Is it in Module 8?2.
