Ask Ss to use the words and expression in brackets to complete the sentences, changing the form as necessary. 2. Allow Ss to compare and discuss their answers, then check answers as a class. Activity 21. Ask Ss to work with their desk partner, look at the pictures and write sentences using the words in the box. 2. Compare sentences as a class. Activity 31. Ask Ss to read the clues and think of questions to ask a partner about each of the inventions. Ask them to write down four questions about each invention. Draw their attention to the example questions if you wish. 2. Put Ss in pairs to take turns asking and answering their questions about the inventions. Activity 41. Put Ss in pairs to complete the sentences with the words in the box. 2. Check answers as a class. Activity 51. Tell Ss to list some words used to talk about location. Ask which of these is used to talk about the speaker’s location.2. Ask Ss to scan the list of three locations in the question.3. Ask Ss listen and choose the answer. 4. Check the answer as a class.
