Key vocabulary:tiny, cry, field, hug, lift, badly, awful, regret, poem...   run through, make sure, keep... from..., give... a hug, lift up, shout back, talk back, think back to, stay out, regret doing...2. Key sentences:  a. When I was a tiny baby crying all night, my mom sang to me and stayed by my side.b. When I was nine watching scary movies, she said itd give me awful dreams. c. But I talked back loudly,“I should be allowed to eat some!Give it to me now!d. I regret talking back,not listening to Mom.3. Structure: modal verbs+be+past participle教學(xué)難點(diǎn):To understand the emotion of the poem. 教學(xué)過(guò)程(表格描述)教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)主要教學(xué)活動(dòng)設(shè)置意圖Step 1Lead-in(PPT 3-7)Guide Ss to review the phrases they learned last class. 2. Make Ss have a discussion about things teenagers should and should not be allowed to do. 3. Have a free talk about home rules and lead in 3a. 復(fù)習(xí)上節(jié)課所學(xué)的短語(yǔ),討論青少年應(yīng)該允許做和不被允許做的事情,導(dǎo)入3a。Step 2Pre-reading(PPT 8-16) Fast readingAsk Ss to have a free talk about the following:Have you ever had different opinions with your parents?At that time, what did you do to deal with that? Work on 3a. Make Ss read the poem and discuss what the title means.Ask Ss to talk about mom: What did Mom do for you?快速瀏覽全詩(shī),討論題目含義,初步了解詩(shī)意,這是閱讀快讀部分。Step 3While-reading(PPT 17-20) Careful reading. Make Ss read the poem carefully, and complete the following tasks:Read the passage and match every paragraph with the main idea.  Read Paragraph 1 and fill in the blanks.Read Paragraph 2 and complete the mind map.Read Paragraph 3 and answer the questions.Check answers in class.本部分是詩(shī)歌細(xì)讀部分也是本節(jié)課閱讀的核心部分。每讀完一段都要完成相應(yīng)的任務(wù),以引導(dǎo)學(xué)生對(duì)每一段深入理解。大聲朗讀并嘗試背誦這首詩(shī)歌。Step 4Post-reading(PPT 21-30) 1. Make Ss have a brain storm and say what mom did for you.2. Complete the mind map and try to know moms love for you.  3. Work on 3b. Read the poem again and answer the questions. 4. Work on 3c. Make Ss work in pairs. Think about a time you did something even though your mom or dad told you not to do it. Share your story with your partner. 5. Show Ss some sayings about moms love. Make them read together. 閱讀后完成3b3c, 回答相關(guān)的問(wèn)題。讀另外一些關(guān)于母愛(ài)的經(jīng)典名句,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生理解詩(shī)意體會(huì)母愛(ài)的偉大。Step 5 Language points(PPT 31-46)Explain the language points and ask Ss to read them. Point out the usages of the following:scary, regret,   stay by my side, talk back, give me awful dreams, stay out.  學(xué)生加深對(duì)重難點(diǎn)知識(shí)的理解,培養(yǎng)他們駕馭重難點(diǎn)的能力。Step 6Summary(PPT 47-49)Summarize the phrases of 3a. 考查形式幫助學(xué)生把握重難點(diǎn)。Step 7Exercises (PPT 50-55)Practice the language points by these exercises.通過(guò)單選以及句型轉(zhuǎn)換等形式練習(xí)所學(xué)的語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)。Step 8中考鏈接(PPT 56)Choose an exercise to practice should be +v(ed) to do.提供中考真題,練習(xí)情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài) should be told to doStep 9Homework(PPT 57)Read the poem and write it down.Share your stories with your friends.設(shè)計(jì)該作業(yè)主要使學(xué)生們熟悉3a所學(xué)的內(nèi)容。板書(shū)設(shè)計(jì)Unit 7 Teenagers should be allowed to choose their own clothes.Section A (3a-3c)1.
