Encourage students to talk about something they have learned about Hong Kong. 聽力訓(xùn)練Listening To show the task in 2a and get students to read the statements in form. Help students to analyse these statements for catching listening propose (relative, place, propose and person). Play the tapes for the first time.Just listen without doing any task. Listen again and try to circle the correct in each sentence. Check the answers together and encourage student to say out the main idea of this conversation. Help students to distinguish the fun activities and downside in the form. Play the tapes for the third time and finish the task in 2b.(Give some pause if necessary for making notes.) Listen again and check the answers. Play the tapes for the last time.Students read after the tapes to correct pronunciation.To explain some language point for each sentence. 對話練習(xí)Dialogue Read the short dialogue for student and translate into Chinese. Help students find replacements. Ask students to make their own dialogue in groups. Ask several groups to act out their work in the front of the class. 角色扮演(Role play) Free talk about Thailand. To show some pictures about Thailand and give a shot introduction. Get students to read the conversation by listen to the tape and try to judgeTorFon the black board. Check the answer together by underline some key sentences. Read the conversation sentence by sentence and try to ask some questions on the blackboard. Explain language points for students and the central purpose about the conversation.
