Unit 5  Wild animals Comic strip & Welcome to the unit設(shè)計(jì)說(shuō)明本課時(shí)先處理Welcome to the unit部分的內(nèi)容,再處理Comic strip的內(nèi)容。首先呈現(xiàn)大量圖片,導(dǎo)入本單元話題——野生動(dòng)物。接著在Free talk環(huán)節(jié)穿插一些生詞的講解,利用Welcome to the unit部分的圖片讓學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)野生動(dòng)物的名稱,并能就每種動(dòng)物用簡(jiǎn)單的詞句進(jìn)行描述。之后通過(guò)聽(tīng)說(shuō)練習(xí)讓學(xué)生兩人一組進(jìn)行對(duì)話,詢問(wèn)對(duì)方最喜愛(ài)的野生動(dòng)物,使學(xué)生進(jìn)一步掌握詞句。最后自然過(guò)渡到Comic strip部分,導(dǎo)入新語(yǔ)境,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生有感情地分角色朗讀課文,并設(shè)計(jì)符合漫畫情境的面部表情和肢體動(dòng)作。教學(xué)目標(biāo)通過(guò)本課節(jié)的教學(xué),讓學(xué)生達(dá)成以下目標(biāo):1.知識(shí)目標(biāo)掌握詞匯:wild, free, dish, pity, die, dolphin, squirrel, zebra, giant panda, no way, have/take pity on, in fact2.能力目標(biāo)(1)學(xué)習(xí)幾種野生動(dòng)物的英文名稱; (2)通過(guò)聽(tīng)說(shuō)訓(xùn)練,能簡(jiǎn)單描述野生動(dòng)物的基本情況。3.情感目標(biāo)學(xué)會(huì)用英語(yǔ)談?wù)撟钕矏?ài)的野生動(dòng)物,表達(dá)對(duì)野生動(dòng)物的喜愛(ài)之情。重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn)重點(diǎn):學(xué)習(xí)野生動(dòng)物的名稱,了解野生動(dòng)物的基本情況。難點(diǎn):用所學(xué)新詞、短語(yǔ)以及固定句型等描述最喜愛(ài)的野生動(dòng)物。教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備PPT 課件;聽(tīng)力錄音;相關(guān)圖片。授課時(shí)數(shù)1課時(shí)教學(xué)過(guò)程Step 1  Lead-inPresent a picture of a giant panda and talk about something about this kind of wild animal with the students.Ask students some questions:(1) What’s this animal?(2) What does it eat?(3) Where does it live?Tell the students, “There are many wild animals in the world.” Teach the new word “wild”Step 2  PresentationPresent pictures of three wild animals (dolphin, squirrel, zebra) and teach the new words: dolphin, squirrel, zebra by using the following conversation:—What can you see in the picture? —I can see...Step 3  Practice1. Ask students to write the correct names under the pictures in Part A. Then check the answers.Answers: 1 dolphin  2 squirrel  3 giant panda  4 bear  5 zebra  6 tiger2. Work in pairs to talk about the animals in Part A according to the model.—What can you see in the picture?—I can see... 3. Ask students to try to describe six kinds of wild animals briefly.For example: The giant panda is very lovely. They are black and white. They eat bamboo. Most of them live in China.The dolphin...The squirrel...The bear...The zebra...The tiger...Step 4  Listening1. Listen to the tape again and fill in the blanks according to the dialogue.The students in our class like different kinds of a_____. Wild animals are free and happy. 野生動(dòng)物既自由又快樂(lè)。  free此處用作形容詞,意為自由的,不受束縛的。feel free to do sth.意為隨意做某事。  You are free to go anywhere you wish. 你愿意去哪兒就去哪兒。【拓展】free用作形容詞時(shí)還可表示免費(fèi)的,空閑的。I’m free today. Let’s go to the museum. They are free for students in China.今天我有空,咱們?nèi)ゲ┪镳^吧。在中國(guó)它們對(duì)學(xué)生是免費(fèi)的。3.
