Lesson 8 First, Second, Third一、教學(xué)目標(biāo):知識(shí)目標(biāo):掌握新單詞:first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth.句型:Li Ming is the first. The girl is the second. The boy in red shorts is the third. January is the first month.能力目標(biāo):使學(xué)生掌握本課所學(xué)序數(shù)詞,并能實(shí)際運(yùn)用序數(shù)詞。情感態(tài)度:關(guān)注學(xué)生的喜好、需求,營造寬松、民主、和諧的課堂氛圍。通過多樣性的活動(dòng),激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣,使學(xué)生在英語課堂中不斷體驗(yàn)成功,感受樂趣,樹立自信心,促進(jìn)學(xué)生綜合語言運(yùn)用能力的發(fā)展。 二、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn):重點(diǎn):first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth.難點(diǎn):序數(shù)詞的英文拼寫及實(shí)際運(yùn)用。三、教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備:幻燈片、單詞圖片、十二生肖圖片、錄音機(jī)、磁帶、磁石、小獎(jiǎng)品。Step 1 Warm-up T: Hello! Boys and girls! S: Hello! Teacher! T: Nice to meet you! S: Nice to meet you, too! T: Good, sit down, please!(設(shè)計(jì)目的:熟練掌握問候語,活躍課堂氣氛,創(chuàng)造學(xué)習(xí)英語的氛圍,拉近師生的距離。)Step 2 Preview1. Let’s play a chant. T: Boys and girls, Let’s have a chant “one, one------January”, together! A. 教師把學(xué)生分為三組,每組12個(gè)人,每組左邊的學(xué)生說唱one, one, 右邊的學(xué)生說唱January, 以此類推。 One, one ------January Two, two ------February Three, three ------March Four, four ------April Five, five ------ May Six, six------June Seven, seven------July Eight, eight ------August Nine, nine ------September Ten, ten ------October Eleven, eleven ------November Twelve, twelve------December T: Now let’s have a race. (教師演示比賽規(guī)則) B. 小組競賽,每組第一位左面的學(xué)生說唱one,one,右面的學(xué)生說唱January,第二為學(xué)生說唱two, two 和February , 以此類推,最準(zhǔn)最快的一組獲勝,給小組加一顆星。【設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過數(shù)字、月份接龍這種學(xué)生喜聞樂見的形式復(fù)習(xí)學(xué)過的數(shù)字和月份,并為接下來學(xué)習(xí)第一至第十二的序數(shù)詞做準(zhǔn)備?!?/span>Step 3 Presentation1. Numbers. a.教師出示課文Part1李明賽跑的幻燈片,講序數(shù)詞first,second,third. b. 讀序數(shù)詞。 (面對(duì)面拍手讀、背靠背度、對(duì)著墻讀、男女生對(duì)讀、個(gè)別讀等。) c. 教師及時(shí)糾正發(fā)音。 d. 練習(xí)first, second, third .2. Teach the ordinal numbers from fourth to twelfth. a. 教師讓四名學(xué)生自告奮勇走出教室,然后排隊(duì)進(jìn)來,讓學(xué)生運(yùn)用序數(shù)詞表達(dá)。由此引出序數(shù)詞fourth. b. 教師出示其它序數(shù)詞, Teacher use the same way to teach“sixth ---twelfth ”. ( 備注:twelfth 多讀幾遍。)(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:教師通過拍手讀、面對(duì)面讀、拍桌子讀等多種讀單詞的方法,提高孩子們的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,幫助孩子們在輕松愉快的環(huán)境中掌握單詞。)3. The teacher lets students listen to the radio, then read after it . 教師讓學(xué)生坐在桌子上跟讀,學(xué)生當(dāng)小老師領(lǐng)讀 ,邊走邊讀,站在各個(gè)墻角讀。(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:教師通過坐在桌子上讀、背靠背讀、男女生對(duì)讀、學(xué)生當(dāng)小老師領(lǐng)讀, 邊走邊讀,站在各個(gè)墻角讀等多種讀單詞的方法,調(diào)動(dòng)孩子們的學(xué)習(xí)熱情,提高他們的注意力,幫助孩子們在輕松愉快的環(huán)境中掌握單詞。)Step4 Practice1. Have a race: race to be first to guess the word . (教師出示幻燈片,請(qǐng)學(xué)生搶猜單詞。) (教師把學(xué)生分為三組,搶猜單詞最快最準(zhǔn)最多的一組獲勝,加一顆星。)2. Pair work:talk about the month with your partners , then finish the match . 學(xué)生小組討論并完成連線,教師巡視,然后訂正答案。 (設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過小組討論,使學(xué)生鞏固所學(xué)序數(shù)詞和月份,并能夠運(yùn)用到句子中。同時(shí)這種形式可以鼓勵(lì)更多學(xué)生參與到活動(dòng)中,進(jìn)而得到鍛煉和表達(dá)的機(jī)會(huì)。)3. Pair work: The twelve animals of Chinese zodiac. The teacher lets them talk about the twelve animals with their partners. Who is the first? Who is the second?....... S1: Who is the first? S2: The mouse is the first. ....... (教師在學(xué)生討論的過程中巡視,糾正錯(cuò)誤,請(qǐng)學(xué)生將十二生肖貼在對(duì)應(yīng)的序數(shù)詞邊上。)(設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過小組討論,使學(xué)生鞏固所學(xué)序數(shù)詞,并能夠運(yùn)用到句子中。同時(shí)這種形式可以鼓勵(lì)更多學(xué)生參與到活動(dòng)中,進(jìn)而得到鍛煉和表達(dá)的機(jī)會(huì)。) The teacher invites three students to stick the twelve animals beside the ordinal numbers. Other students read after them. Mouse is the first. Cow is the second… S1: Mouse is the first. Cow is the second… (備注每組選一名學(xué)生貼單詞,4張卡片,其他學(xué)生站起來邊做動(dòng)作邊說句子,選出貼的速度最快最準(zhǔn)確的一組,加一顆星。)4. 選出本堂課獲勝的一組,每人再加一顆星。Step 5 Consolidation and extension 1. 教師出示幻燈片,出示一些其他序數(shù)詞的變換形式 : T: Look at these numbers, Read after me.Twenty---twentieth thirty---thirtieth forty---fortieth fifty---fiftiethSixty ---sixtieth seventy---seventieth eighty---eightieth ninety---ninetieth Twenty-one------twenty-first thirty---five------thirty-fifth fifty-nine------fifty-ninth 2. 總結(jié)序數(shù)詞變化規(guī)律。 T: Look at the ordinal numbers.What do you find? S1: 從四開始末尾加th. S2: … S3:.. T: Great! You’re wonderful! Look here! Read after me! 1,2,3 變體,th從4起,8加h,9去e,拿來f代ve,ty變成tie,幾十幾,只把個(gè)位變?yōu)樾?。.
