    Unit5 Do you have a soccer ball?                     (Section A 1a1c)                Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis lesson is the first period of Unit5 in Grade seven. After learning Unit 3 Is this your pencil?, students have learned how to identify ownership. On the basis of it , students will learn to identify ownership further by using have. Students will learn some words on sports and some descriptive words.Analysis of the StudentsStudents in Grade 7 are more interested in learning English. They can cooperate the teacher well .  They are willing to take part in the class activity. Whats more ,the topic sports is close to their lives.Teaching Methods: The Audio-lingual ApproachThe Communicative ApproachThe Task-based methodTeaching Aims: Enable students to read and use the words: have, soccer ball, tennis ball, ping-pong ball, volleyball, basketball, bat...   and the sentences: Do you have …?       Yes, I do. I have   No, I don’t.  I dont have  2. To make the students know how to ask whether others have something or not and how to answer it.  3. To develop the students’ ability of listening, speaking and reading. And make the students love sports, love life. Key points:  kinds of sports, Do you have …? Yes, I do. I have  / No, I don’t. I dont have  Difficult points:  As above .Teaching aids:  PPTTeaching Procedure: Step 1:Lead-in   Play a video named Do you have a pet to draw students attention.(歌曲導(dǎo)入,創(chuàng)設(shè)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)氛圍,同時(shí)也為句型 Do you have。。。?做鋪墊)Step 2: Presentation  Teach students the new words on sports.(1)Present new words (with PPT) T: What’s this?   S: It’s a soccer ball   Read after me, soccer ball,(Soccer ball, tennis ball, ping-pong ball, volleyball, basketball, bat…) (在已學(xué)句型What’s this? 中教師教授新單詞,激發(fā)學(xué)生舊知引發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)新知的興趣)Then students read above words together.(在教師輸入單詞后,學(xué)生通過(guò)機(jī)械操練單詞輸出單詞)Next the teacher leads students to do a chain like this : soccer ball, soccer ball, I have a soccer ball(將單詞以chain的形式融入到新句型中,一是朗朗上口增加了口頭操練單詞的趣味性,二是為新句型的輸入奠定基礎(chǔ))(2)Design a game named can you say . Students speak out the words as quickly as they can to compete .(通過(guò)游戲環(huán)節(jié)再次使學(xué)生鞏固單詞) (3)Match the words with the things in 1a. (單詞檢測(cè),由部分到個(gè)體,由口頭練習(xí)到書(shū)面練習(xí),再次鞏固單詞)3.Lead into the new sentences by presenting some pictures.(1)T:I like sports .I have a soccerball . Do you have a soccer ball?   Read the sentences to students.  Do you have a soccer ball?  Yes, I do. I have a soccer ballNo, I don’t.  I dont have a soccer ball (句型引入,教師由自我描述擁有物品到詢問(wèn)學(xué)生是否有此物品,再帶讀學(xué)生新句型,輸入新句型環(huán)節(jié)緊扣) (2)  Students repeat the new sentences.(教師輸入句型后,學(xué)生通過(guò)機(jī)械操練讀句型來(lái)輸出新句型)(3)  Exercise: Look and say ( students fill in the blanks of the dialogue according to the pictures)(學(xué)生通過(guò)圖片信息來(lái)填詞,既鞏固新單詞又鞏固新句型)Then students act the dialogue in group(將句型機(jī)械操練轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)閷W(xué)生自己的語(yǔ)言)(4)Play a game : according to more pictures, students speak out the required sentence one by one.(通過(guò)游戲環(huán)節(jié),增加活動(dòng)的多樣性及課堂學(xué)生思維的活躍性,新句型由前面集體輸出到這個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)個(gè)體輸出,體現(xiàn)了關(guān)注全體學(xué)生的原則)  Step 3: Practice  The best listener  T:Listen and circle the words you hear. (1b)(書(shū)本聽(tīng)力訓(xùn)練,通過(guò)圈出所聽(tīng)單詞,訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的聽(tīng)力,也再次鞏固新單詞)You’re great! Now please look at the four items in the list in 1b and read them. I’ll play the record twice. Please listen carefully and circle the words you hear.   T:Listen and Fill in the blanks.(拓展聽(tīng)力訓(xùn)練,通過(guò)另一種填關(guān)鍵詞,進(jìn)一步培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的聽(tīng)力,要求學(xué)生當(dāng)堂能寫(xiě)出本節(jié)課的重點(diǎn)詞匯) 2. Do pair works According to the PPT, the students are required to practice in pairs. And make sentences by using new structure, for exampleA:Do you have a...? (add the other words)B:  Yes, I do. I have   No, I don’t.  I dont have  (通過(guò)圖片展示已學(xué)的物品詞匯,如map, dictionary,激發(fā)學(xué)生舊知,從而再次鞏固句型,也為后面的Do a report環(huán)節(jié)做鋪墊。)3.Do a report like this Hello, everyone. This is my room. I have a map, a schoolbag, a basketball and two soccer balls. But I dont have a dictionary, a tennis ball or ping-pong bats .將本節(jié)課的重點(diǎn)字詞句融入到短小的report中,使學(xué)生系統(tǒng)的運(yùn)用本節(jié)課的知識(shí)進(jìn)行輸出,訓(xùn)練口語(yǔ)能力,也為后面的書(shū)面表達(dá)做鋪墊Step 4: Summary T:What do we learn from this class?(讓學(xué)生總結(jié)本節(jié)課的知識(shí),使學(xué)生再次鞏固本節(jié)課內(nèi)容)  Ask students to make a conclusion on this class. Next the teacher presents the PPT on conclusion. Step 5: Homework 1. Write down a short report in your exercise-book. 2. Finish the tasks in the exercise book. (通過(guò)書(shū)面作業(yè)的方式鞏固本節(jié)課所學(xué)知識(shí)) Blackboard design  Unit 5 Do you have a soccer ball?Section A 1a1c                               basketball                              tennis ball      Do you have a            ping-pong bat                   Yes, I do                 No, I don’t                     volleyball    soccer ball                                    baseball bat                                ping-pong ball      I have a ______________.                                                                                      I don’t have a _____________.
