PresentationUsing it as the empty subjectWe can use it as the empty subject like this:It is one o'clock.It is summer now.It rained all day.It is only a five-minute walk from my home to the school.It is hot in this room.it 作形式主語的用法:代詞it可以用來代替一個名詞、一個短語、一個句子,在句中作主語或賓語。 it作主語指時間、日期、天氣、距離和氣溫等。此時,it無實(shí)際意義但不可以省略。 We often use it to refer to the time, season, weather, distance and temperature. It作形式主語代替動詞不定式。We can also use it as the empty subject of a sentence to replace a to-infinitive. It + is + 形容詞 + for + 賓語 + to do sth. 句型通常與表示可能性、必要性、重要性、緊迫性、頻繁程度以及價值判斷等的形容詞連用。 It作形式主語代替動詞不定式,常用于以下句型中:It is/was adj. (of/for) sb. to do sth.當(dāng)表語是與事物的特征有關(guān)的形容詞時,easy, difficult, hard, important, necessary等,用介詞for.It is/was adj.
