If you like, you can compare your life now with the past. 教學(xué)重點：1. Key vocabulary:ant, insect ...all the time, be nervous about, on the soccer team...2. Key sentences:a. I didn't use to like tests.　b. I used to be nervous about tests all the time.3. Structures :  used to do/didn't use to do教學(xué)難點：Practice talking about the things they used to like or hate or do in the childhood.   教學(xué)過程(表格描述)教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)主要教學(xué)活動設(shè)置意圖Step 1Warming-up(PPT 3-5)1. Ask Ss to have a free talk about the things they used to like when they were children.  2. Look at the pictures and learn the new words.3. Write sentences with used to be/do. Then read the sentences together and lead in 1a.通過自由討論，復(fù)習(xí)Section A學(xué)過的重點句型used to be/do，借助生動的圖片，使學(xué)生輕松愉快的進入對過去的習(xí)慣和動作的表達中。寫下并大聲的朗讀，導(dǎo)入1a。Step 2 Presentation(PPT 6-9)Work on 1a. 1. Ask Ss to look at the pictures in 1a.If neede help Ss describe the pictures using the structure “used to”.2. Get Ss to write down the things they used to do when they were children.3. Discuss them with their partners.Then report in English.Work on 1b. 1. Ask Ss : What other things did you use to like when you were a child? 2. Make Ss write sentences in the box above. Then discuss them with a partner. 完成1a和1b后，將這些句子寫下來并朗讀， 進一步討論你小學(xué)喜歡干的事情引出1c聽力材料。練習(xí)使學(xué)生無論是從口頭還是從書面都能夠順利聽明白下面的聽力材料。Step 3Listening(PPT 10-13)Work on 1c. 1. Ask Ss to read aloud the sentences in 1c.Make sure they understand the meaning.2. Play the tape for the first time for Ss to listen and check (?) the sentences they hear. 3. Check answers in class.Work on 1d.1. Ask Ss to look at the chart.2. Make them listen again. What do the girl and the boy say about things in the past and now? Ask Ss to fill in the chart. 3. Listen once more and try to answer questions ,then check answers.訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的聽力水平，并且要求學(xué)生對所聽的內(nèi)容會口頭表達。通過訓(xùn)練，使學(xué)生學(xué)會詢問和表達小學(xué)時候的情況。Step 4Practice (PPT 14)Work on 1e. Ask Ss to work in pairs to compare themselves with their partners. A: I used to be I used to be nervous about tests all the   time. What about you?B: Yes, me too. And I used to …這是口語輸出的展示。創(chuàng)造真實的語言環(huán)境， 分角色體驗自己小時候快樂生活， 為學(xué)生進行愉快的口語訓(xùn)練。Step 5Language points(PPT 15- 16)1. Explain the usage of be nervous about. 2. Ask Ss to read them.解決本節(jié)課的難點be nervous about。Step 6Exercises(PPT 17-19)Show some exercises to practice the key words, the target languages and key sentences. 通過填單詞、完成句子等形式練習(xí)所學(xué)的重點詞匯和句型。Step 7Homework(PPT 20)Make conversations with your partner about what your childhood used to be like.課下讓學(xué)生繼續(xù)練習(xí)對話，以鞏固所學(xué)句型。板書設(shè)計Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark.Section B (1a-1e)all the time on the soccer teambe nervous about 1.
