扎龍自然保護(hù)區(qū)位于黑龍江省西部, 齊齊哈爾東南, 嫩江的烏裕爾河下游。那里有一片廣闊的沼澤濕地, 葦草叢生, 魚類豐富, 適于丹頂鶴和其他水禽棲息。1979年, 我國(guó)在此建立了面積達(dá)21萬公頃的自然保護(hù)區(qū)。區(qū)內(nèi)有鳥類248種, 其中屬國(guó)家重點(diǎn)保護(hù)的野生動(dòng)物20多種, 尤以鶴的種類繁多令人矚目。扎龍?jiān)邡Q類保護(hù)和研究方面取得的成果, 得到國(guó)內(nèi)外著名鳥類學(xué)家的高度評(píng)價(jià)。
