It’s doing…Words: draw, jump, sing, dance.教學難點Students can use the sentence structure “What’s the elephant doing?” and “It’s doing…” to describe the animals.教學準備Teacher preparation: Picture, tape—recorder, words cards, computer, point reading pen.Student Preparation: Pre-class preparation教學過程Step1 Warming up.Greeting.Sing the songRow, row, row your boat.I say, you do.Review the phrases:Swimming, playing football, playing basketball, playing table tennis, running, taking pictures, riding a bike, flying a kite, listening to music, reading a book, stand up, sit down, talking to my friend.Divide the groups.Today we’ll have a big tree, and there are some apples in this tree. I’ll divide our class into two groups. If you do good job, you will jump one step. Which group jump higher will catch the apples, they’re the winner.Step 2 Presentations.Boys and girls, do you like animals? Today we’ll go to circus. Let’s look at these lovely animals. There is a video for you. Let’s enjoy it.Do you like them? OK, today we’ll learn Module 3 Unit 2 What’s the elephant doing?Lead in.T: Who are they?Ss: They’re Daming and Amy.T: Yes, Daming and Amy go to Circus today. They see lots of interesting animals and things. Do you want to have a look?Now enjoy the video and try to answer the question: What animals are they talking about?Play the video.T: Who can answer the questions?S: The elephant, the tigers, the horse and the horse.New text.(1) New word: drawShow the picture of elephant.T: Now let’s look at the first pictures. What’s this?Ss: It’s an elephant.T: What’s the elephant doing?Ss: 畫畫.T: Yes, it’s drawing pictures.Learn the new word: drawDraw—dr, aw—draw—drawing—drawing pictures— It’s drawing pictures. —What’s the elephant doing? It’s drawing pictures.Students practice the sentences.(2) New Word: jumpShow the picture of tigersT: Next one, what’s in this picture? Do you know this animal?Ss: Tigers.T: Yes, what’s the tigers doing?Ss: 跳。Learn the word: jumpJump— jumping —It’s jumping.—What are the tigers doing? It’s jumping. Play the game : High and low voice.Students practice the sentences.(3) New Word: sing.Show the picture of bird.T: How about this animal?Ss: It’s a bird.T: What’s the bird doing?Ss: 唱歌。T: Yes, it’s singing.Learn the word: sing.Sing— singing—It’s singing.—What’s the bird doing? It’s singing.Pair work. Practice the sentences.(4) New work : dance.Show the picture of horse.T: Now let’s have a look the last pictures. Ss: It’s a horse.T: What’s the horse doing?Ss: 跳舞.Learn the new word: dance.Dance—dancing—It’s dancing.—What’s the horse doing? It’s dancing.Pair work. Listen and follow the point reading pen.Read the text freely.Ss try to retell the text.Listen to activity 1 , and try to answer the question: What are the monkeys doing?Listen and follow the point reading pen.Step 3 ConsolidationJust now we’ve talked about what the animals is doing. Now turn to page 18 .Look at the activity 3, and talk about this pictures with your partner and tick.Here are some photos, Let’s have a look.Teacher shows some people’s pictures, and practice the “What’s she/ he doing? She’s/He’s doing…”Now take out your photos , and introduce your photos to your classmates.Show time.Step 4 SummaryToday we have see lots of lovely animals. Animals are our good friends. We like all kinds of animals, such as birds, monkeys, pandas. We can’t live in the world without animals. So we should protect them.Let’s the students summary this lesson.板書設計Module 3 Unit 2 What’s the elephant doing?              drawing pictures.It’s            singing.              dancing.They’re jumping.課后作業(yè)Listen and repeat the dialogue for three times.Introduce your photos to your parents.教學反思本節(jié)課是學生學習現(xiàn)在進行時的第二課時,教學目標是讓學生掌握動名詞詞組以及句型What’s the elephant doing? 在這節(jié)課中我采用了情景教學,讓學生自主學習與合作學習。在新授詞組時,說、動作結合,讓學生更好的理解詞組含義與記憶。并通過各種真實的動作圖片,引導學生對于談論現(xiàn)在的情況有較豐富的、深入的體驗。運用了身體語言,幫助他們理解、領會現(xiàn)在進行時用法。調(diào)動了學生學習積極性,整個課堂氣氛活躍,學生的熱情很高。教學中我有意識地淡化語法教學,把學習內(nèi)容和生活有效的整和起來,讓學生在看,聽,讀的同時,會說,敢說,能靈活的運用所學知識 , 注意引導學生的口語表達能力,使學生的創(chuàng)新能力、合作探究能力得到發(fā)展。并通過practice、read and act、role play等環(huán)節(jié)加強對新知識的鞏固。使學生順利地完成了學習任務。當然在本課教學中,也存在著一些不足和遺憾之處,引發(fā)我的思考。 通過這節(jié)課我深刻體會到了教師自身素質(zhì)的重要性、教師的課外知識含量、教師的課堂應變能力、教師的幽默感等因素都會對課堂教學產(chǎn)生一定的影響,在今后的教學中我將不斷充實自我。 課堂評價形式較為單一,只用了一些較為平常的課堂評價語言或者獎勵一些粘紙,缺少一些人文性的評價,在我今后的教學中我將采用自我評價、小組評價、同伴互評等多種評價形式。 教師在課堂提問時對每一位學生的關注程度不夠,更多的是讓那些經(jīng)常舉手的學生發(fā)言,而忽略了部分膽怯的同學,在今后我要加大課堂的關注面。 新單詞和短語的操練不夠,導致后面提問的時候有些同學回答不上了。遺憾的是這節(jié)課的時間安排不夠合理,在聽、說、讀的練習上所占時間較長,以至于在綜合練習安排的時間教學,學生的綜合運用不是很充分。希望在今后的備課中認真設計各個環(huán)節(jié)所用的時間,爭取使教學效果更好、教學過程更完美。
