1.先讀題干,抓住關(guān)鍵詞;
2.帶著問題快速閱讀短文,找出與問題有關(guān)的詞語或句子;

Exercising regularly not only helps you keep slim, but also improves your overall health and well-being. Different exercises produce different results, as they focus on different parts of the body. There are four broad exercise categories: endurance, strength, flexibility, and balance. Many people often only focus on one exercise type, but including all four in your workout will produce better results and reduce your risk of injury.
Endurance
Endurance exercises increase your breathing and heart rate. By doing endurance exercises, you are working to keep your heart, lungs, and blood-flow system healthy while improving your total fitness. Over time these activities will make everyday activities seem easier.
Strength
If you want to build up your muscles, then strength exercises, which are also known as “resistance training”, are right for you. Even the slightest increase in strength can make a huge difference in your ability to carry out daily tasks. Developing strong muscles also reduces your risk of weak bones.
Flexibility
Flexibility exercises help stretch your body's muscles. This allows for more freedom of movement for other exercises and can also improve your range of motion, posture, ability to breathe deeply, and blood flow. Also, it reduces the muscle tension caused by stress.
Balance
Balance exercises help prevent falls and are especially important to older adults, helping them stay independent. Most good balance exercises are ones that keep you constantly moving with your feet on the ground. Heel-to-toe walking and standing on one foot are simple ways to improve balance.
1.How can a person benefit most from their exercise routine?
A.By combining different exercise types together.
B.By having sufficient rest between their workouts.
C.By concentrating on one training aspect at a time.
D.By increasing the frequency of their training gradually.
2.Which exercise types are most useful to improve a person's breathing function?
A.Strength and Balance.
B.Flexibility and Balance.
C.Endurance and Strength.
D.Endurance and Flexibility.
3.Which part of the body plays the most important role in balance-related exercises?
A.Arms. B.Legs.
C.The waist. D.The neck.

No matter where you go around the globe, everybody loves to celebrate. And when it comes to celebration, festivals offer something for everyone.
Mardi Gras (New Orleans, Louisiana)
Also known as Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras in New Orleans is a cultural event. Though the celebration is held every year, the festivities last for months. And if you love music, check out the annual Galactic concert at the world-famous Tipitina's on Lundi Gras (the day before Mardi Gras).
La Tomatina (Valencia, Spain)
Launched way back in 1944 or 1945, La Tomatina is one of the oldest festivals on our list. It's also easily the happiest but the messiest, coming off like the world's biggest food fight.
Legend has it that the whole thing started when some local boys joined a parade alongside musicians. The boys made the performers so angry that they tried to hit the boys, and a vendor's (攤販) vegetable stand fell victim to the incident.
If you go, please follow some simple rules: Don't throw hard objects; squash the tomato before throwing it; keep a safe distance from tomato trucks and stop in time.
Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland)
Founded back in 1967, Montreux is one of the oldest music festivals in the world. It is also the second largest jazz festival, after the Montreal International Jazz Festival. That Canadian concert may attract more visitors — around 2 million annually. But Montreux benefits from its pretty location on the attractive shores of Lake Geneva. The area is particularly beautiful in late June/early July, when the festival is held.

First Aid at Work,AED with Life Support, First Aid for Teachers Training, Fire Marshal Training以及課程的價(jià)格、適合的人群和特點(diǎn)等。
根據(jù)AED with Life Support中的“who want to learn how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED)”并結(jié)合常識(shí)可知,AED是一種醫(yī)療設(shè)備,故選C項(xiàng)。
F(xiàn)irst Aid at Work每天的價(jià)格是279÷3=93英鎊;AED with Life Support每天的價(jià)格是107÷2=53.5英鎊;First Aid for Teachers Training每天的價(jià)格是50英鎊;Fire Marshal Training每天的價(jià)格是364÷4=91英鎊,故First Aid at Work每天的費(fèi)用最高。
根據(jù)First Aid at Work中的“Suitable for people aged 16+”,AED with Life Support中的“A right choice for people over 16”, First Aid for Teachers Training中的“Ideal for teachers and other school staff over 16”,F(xiàn)ire Marshal Training中的“Take this if you are over 16”可知,這四個(gè)課程學(xué)習(xí)者的年齡都須在16歲以上,故選B。
