1. When is yur birthday, Linda? 琳達，你的生日是什么時候？
when是疑問副詞，意為“什么時候”，引導特殊疑問句。句式是 “When+一般疑問句？”，when可以對年、月、日和時刻提問。

when 與 what time
意為“什么時候”, 可以對年、月、日以及時刻進行提問, 或者詢問某一動作發(fā)生的時間, 回答時常用介詞 at, in, n等組成的表示時間的介詞短語。
意為“幾點”, 用于詢問具體的時間, 如幾點幾分, 通常直接回答某個時間點。
2.My birthday is n May 2nd. 我的生日是在5月2日。
(1) 表示日期時, 月份的首字母必須大寫, 2nd 是序數(shù)詞 secnd 的簡寫, 用來表示順序。表示年、月、日時, 年、月用基數(shù)詞表示, 日通常用序數(shù) 詞表示。(2) 當日期具體到某天時, 用介詞 n。
介詞 n, in, at 的區(qū)別
表示日期具體到某天：n July 10, 2012 (在2012年7月10日)
表示一天中的上午、下午、晚上或某月、某年：in the mrning (在早上) in September (在九月)
表示具體某一時刻：at five (在五點鐘)

(1) hw ld意為“多大年紀; 幾歲”, 用來詢問年齡。 ld 是形容詞, 意為“……歲的”。其句型結(jié)構(gòu)為 “Hw ld + be + 主語? ” 表示“……幾歲/多大了? ” 其同義句: What’s ne’s age? (2) 表示年齡常用“基數(shù)詞+year (s) ld”, 也可以只用基數(shù)詞表示。
