Step 1 Warming up & Revisin

1. Greet the class.

2. Let’s d. G t the garden.

3. Free talk.

Where can yu see many teachers? Hw many gardens are there in yur schl? Where’s the teachers’ ffice? Is the library n the first flr?

4. Open yur bks n Page 5. Play Magic finger game t revise the dialgues f let’s talk (T reads the sentences, Ss pint t it n the bks quickly and read it ut, the fastest ne can have a glden finger.)

5. Play a Quick respnse game t match the places with the actins. I can chse.

Step 2 Presentatin & Practice

1. Shw sme letters and review the sunds f A, E, I, O, U learnt last term. Then lead the Ss t read and say.

2. Present sme wrds n the screen. Ask the Ss t find ut the wrds accrding t my sunds. Help the Ss chse and then check sme individuals.

3. Practise the sunds.

A. Listen and judge the sunds what I said.

B. Listen and spell the wrds ut accrding t my wrds.

4. Guide the Ss t spell ut the wrds including the letter er. Accrding t the sunds. Shw the wrds n the bard and lead the Ss t read and say.

5. Guide the Ss t learn the sunds f er and distinguish the symbls as pssible as they can.

6. Let’s spell.

A. Read, listen and chant. Open the bks t Page 6, ask the Ss t listen and read after the listening materials. At last, chant it tgether.

B. Read, underline and say. Accrding t the 3 exercises n Page 6. Underline the wrds by themselves. Then check sme individuals. At last, say them tgether.

C. Lk, listen and write. Accrding t the pictures n Page 6, ask the Ss t listen and write dwn the wrds. Then ask the Ss t think abut why n water near the cmputer?

1. Present the key pints f this part and explain them.

2. Give sme mre wrds with similar prnunciatins.
