Yu knw that ld debate abut whether dgs are smarter than cats? Well, science nw has a definite answer. It’s dgs. That’s the cnclusin f an internatinal grup f researchers, wh fund that dgs have twice as many neurns (神經(jīng)元) as cats. Neurns are cells that deal with infrmatin. Text 10
M: Listen, Chuck. Yu shuld study hard and try yur best in all yur subjects. That’s all yu can d. Let me tell yu a little stry abut my study when I was at yur age.
I was always gd at English, but terrible at maths and science. I used t find thse subjects bring. My teachers tld my mm and dad — yur grandparents that it was likely that I wuld fail in maths and science if I didn’t try my best. My parents were really angry. They stpped me frm seeing my friends and made me feel like I had let them dwn. I decided t put extra effrt int studying maths and science. I reduced time spent n English because I was already gd at that. My parents were really happy with my new attitude. Then came the day f the next exam. I gt high marks in science and maths. My parents were very satisfied with that. But I nly scred a “C” in English when I had always been expected t get an “A”!
What did I learn frm the lessn? Always try yur best at everything even areas yu think yu are gd at!
