During ur final part f the term studying theater and perfrmance at the University f Leeds, I fund myself standing utside Berkeley Curt care hme n a rainy afternn with three curse mates and an underdevelped idea. We planned t d sensry stimulatin wrkshps with the residents living with dementia (癡呆), in an attempt t inspire memry and scial engagement.
I had a CD player under my arm because we had decided t play music at the end f the prgram. If the average age f the residents was abut 80, I thught they prbably wuld have been listening t Frank Sinatra in their late 20s. We went with My Way because we all recgnized it was energetic enugh.
