S he said t his family, “Shall we wrk tgether t remve (搬掉)the tw muntains? Then we can g straight t the suth.” The agreed t his idea.The Flish Old Man and his sns began t break rcks and dig earth. They carried the rcks and earth in baskets t the seaside f Bhai. One trip t the sea tk them alng time. They left in winter and came back in summer. Anther ld man lived by the river. Peple called him the Wise Old Man. He laughed at the Flish Old Man and said t him, “Hw unwise yu are! Yu are ld and weak. Yu cannt even pull ut a tree frm the muntains. Hw can yu remve them?” The Flish Old Man said, “Yu dn’t understand. When l die, there will be my sns, and my sns will have their sns and grandsns. The family will carry n, but the muntains will nt grw. Why can't we remve them?”The Gd f Muntains heard the Flish Old Man's wrds. He reprted the whle thing t the Heavenly Gd. The Heavenly Gd was tuched(被感動(dòng)的).He rdered the tw sns f Kua’ershi (夸娥氏)t remve the tw muntains.
