A. Using thugh/althugh
讓步狀語從句-什么是“讓步”
Althugh the sweater was tight,he wre it, 雖然毛衣很緊，他還是穿上了。
邏輯給現(xiàn)實讓步正常邏輯：毛衣緊就不穿了，可他還是出門了。 實際：雖然毛衣很緊，他還是穿上了。
1.althugh/thugh“盡管, 雖然” , 常用于引導(dǎo)讓步狀語從句。（注：讓步狀語從句表示即使出現(xiàn)在從句中的情況，主句動作仍然會發(fā)生，有“退一步說……”的意思。）
2.althugh和thugh在一般情況下可以互換使用。在口語中，thugh較常使用，althugh比thugh更正式一些。

3. althugh/thugh 不能和but連用，但可和yet或still連用①Althugh/Thugh he wrked hard, he failed.= He wrked hard, but he failed.雖然他很努力工作，但是他失敗了。
②Althugh/Thugh it was raining hard, yet they went n playing ftball. 雖然雨下得很大，但他們?nèi)栽谔咦闱颉?br/>注：若主從句的主語相同, 且從句謂語含有動詞be, 可將從句主語和be省略。

① s ... that ... 如此 ... 以至于 ...
s + adj./adv. + that + 句子

在復(fù)合句中，充當(dāng)結(jié)果狀語的句子，表示結(jié)果。連接詞：s…that; such…that 如比…以至于
② such ... that ... 如此 ... 以至于 ...
such+ a/an+adj.+可數(shù)名詞單數(shù) adj.+可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)/不可數(shù)名詞
① She is such a cute girl that we all like her.
③ They are such interesting nvels that I want t read them again.
④ We had such terrible weather that we culdn’t cme n time.
② It was such an interesting film that I watched it twice.
s + many/few+可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)+ that + 句子s + much/little+不可數(shù)名詞+ that + 句子
① He ate s many pears that he felt stmachache.② There are s few flwers that I dn't want t stay here.③ He ate s much fd that he didn’t feel well.④ He had s little edueatin that he was unfit fr this jb.
注意：如果名詞前由many, much, few, little 等詞(即“多多少少”）所修飾的話，則不用such 而用s。
當(dāng)little表示“小”時，仍用such

C. Using “s that”
s that“以便, 為了, 使能夠”1.引導(dǎo)目的狀語從句, 用以說明主句動作發(fā)生的目的。2.從句中常有情態(tài)動詞can, may, will, might, wuld, culd, shuld等, 而且主句和從句之間不使用逗號。3.s that+句子 = in rder that+句子=s as t d sth. = in rder t d sth.
in rder that 和 s that 的區(qū)別1) s that 只能放在主句之后,2) in rder that 既能放在主句之前也能放在主句之后
He gt up early s that he culd catch the early bus. = He gt up early in rder that he culd catch the early bus.= He gt up early s as t catch the early bus. = He gt up early in rder t catch the early bus. 為了能趕上早班車, 他早早就起床了。

I’ll lend them my DVDs s that they will learn what Chinese kung fu is all abut.
