①Having a bldy nse can make sme peple nervus, but in mst cases, nsebleeds (流鼻血) are nt serius and easy t stp. Arund 60% f peple will experience a bldy nse in their lifetime. Nsebleeds are mst cmmn in children frm 2 t 10 years ld and in adults aged 50—80.
②Cmmn causes f nsebleeds include (包括) dry air and wunds t the nse r ther parts f the head. Blwing yur nse t ften when yu have a cld can als lead t nsebleeds. Yu prbably already knw hw t stp a bldy nse right away, but it ' s imprtant t d it prperly and safely.
③Always sit up straight when yur nse is bleeding, and never lie n yur back. One f the biggest mistakes in first aid is that yu lean (傾斜) back with a bldy nse, but the best thing t d is t lean frward. The bld needs t g smewhere, and if the persn leans back r lies dwn, it will mst likely g dwn his thrat, pssibly causing chking (窒息). And try nt t put tissues (紙巾) int yur nse.
④Pinching the nse prperly stps r slws the bleeding. Hld the nse fr at least five minutes. D nt let g t check fr bleeding until at least the first five minutes are up. If yu can, keep the pressure (擠壓) n fr lnger. After five minutes, see if the bleeding has stpped. If nt, pinch again, but keep it up fr 10 minutes this time.
⑤Avid activities such as heavy lifting, blwing r picking yur nse fr a day after the nsebleed has stpped. Remember that if yu can't stp the nsebleed with these methds, see a dctr immediately.
