As we age, even if we're healthy, the heart just isn't as efficient in prcessing xygen as it used t be.In mst peple the first signs shw up in their 50s r early 60s. And amng peple wh dn't exercise, the changes can start even sner.

Levine and his research team selected vlunteers aged between 45 and 64 wh did nt exercise much but were therwise healthy. Participants were randmly divided int tw grups. The first grup participated in a prgram f nnaerbic(無氧) exercise—balance training and weight training—three times a week.
