Ella lwered the head sadly, “I made the dress myself, but it is ripped.” Gently placing a hand n her shulder, Miss Miller said, “Yur wrk is beautiful!” Then Miss Miller tk ff her sweater and helped Ella t pull it n and suggested, “Why nt wear this hme n the bus?” Ella thanked her heartily and hurried hme.

Let’s wrk tgether t make it cme back!” Hearing this, Ella’s sadness began t lift. Then Mm taught Ella hw t use the sewing machine t mend the dress. With the instructin f Mm, the repaired dress lked even mre beautiful than befre. With satisfactin, Ella eagerly put n the dress, twirling arund in frnt f her mther. Her mther culdn’t help but share in her daughter’s happiness.
