(1)when為疑問副詞,意為“什么時候;何時”,用來詢問時間??蓪δ?、月、日及具體時刻進行提問,也可詢問某一動作發(fā)生的時間。eg:—When d yu want t g t the park? 你們想什么時候去公園? —Tmrrw mrning.明天上午。 —When des the first class begin??第一節(jié)課什么時間開始? —At 8:30.在八點半。(2)what time意為“幾點鐘”,用來詢問具體的時間。 “What time is it?”相當于“What's the time?”。eg:—What time d yu get up? 你幾點起床? —At six.六點。
3.when還表示“當……的時候”,而what time無此意思。 eg:I was reading a bk when my mther gt hme. 媽媽到家時我在讀書。4.what time用來對某個時間提問,希望知道的時間比when更具體。eg:—What time d yu get up in the mrning? 你早上幾點起床? —Abut six.大約6點。 —What time des the shp pen?這個商店幾點開門? — At a quarter t nine. 8:45.

直接詢問對方年齡常用 Hw ld are yu?= What’s ne’s age? 回答為“I'm+基數(shù)詞(+years ld).”其中years ld可以省略;詢問他人年齡用Hw ld is she/he/yur...? 回答為“+基數(shù)詞(+years ld).”。但在西方國家個人年齡是隱私,詢問別人的年齡被認為是不禮貌的。

hw much意為“多少錢”,以其開頭的特殊疑問句可用來詢問物品的價格。 常用結構為“Hw much+is/are+主語?” 回答時可用“It's / They're+錢數(shù).”。詢問價格還可用“What is the price f...?”【注意】無論被詢問的物品是不可數(shù)名詞、可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)還是可數(shù)名詞復數(shù),be動詞都用is,不能用are。 其答語為“It's+價格.”,意為“價格是……”。 eg:—Hw much is the desk? = —What is the price f the desk? 這張桌子多少錢? —It's 130 yuan. = —It's 130 yuan. 130元。 —Hw much are these?bks?=—What is the price f these bks?這些書多少錢? —They are 20 yuan. = —It's 20 yuan. 20元。

【拓展】hw much也可用來詢問不可數(shù)名詞的數(shù)量,意為“多少”。 hw many用來詢問可數(shù)名詞數(shù)量,其后接復數(shù)名詞。 eg:Hw much ygurt d yu need? 你需要多少酸奶? Hw many classes d yu have every day?你每天有多少節(jié)課?
【拓展】1.英美等西方國家的貨幣單位像dllar(美元)、cent (美分)、pund(英鎊)、penny(便士)、shilling(先令)等有單復數(shù)變化。 2.我國的貨幣單位元(yuan)、角(jia)、分(fen)單復數(shù)一樣。 3. 表示貨幣等度量衡單位的詞在作主語時,謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式。 eg: 100 dllars is quite a lt f mney fr him. 100美元對他來說是相當多的錢。
